"crazy looking" yeah right, i think the author is trying to use keywords to get us interested in this story. the office of the present & the future is in our homes. the traditional cubicle will eventually be replaced by more dramatic luxury resort lobby type spaces, used only for formal meetings. some of the stuff frank lloyd wright has designed is more apropos.-blurey
the office of the present and the future is ones home. the traditional "maze" or "cubicle" office will still exist but only for short "appearances" or meetings "in vivo". this is an interesting design but that all it is interesting, it is does not have that WoW! factor it mostly functional. a more dramatic working eviorment would be something with the feel of a luxury resort lobby.-blurey
mr.asimov is my favorite sci-fi writer, he writes of worlds that are inhabited by human babys being raised and taken care of all their lives by robots (computers). the ability to have our psyche transfered into a machine so that it may live infinately has me intrigued. that the machines will eventually rule humans is quite viable. it is turning out to be, and has been for a while that what is sci-fi will eventually become reality.-blurey
