never actually seen fireflies, but always wanted to..... awesome pics, thanks for the post!
"I'm not getting near that Goddamned thing! one of them burned me in The Return Of Chandu!"
..............no words..........none....... #observationdeck
awesome. i love scratchy recordings that you have to strain to listen to. it's like listening to ghosts... i have a bunch of 78's from the 1890's- 1930's. some of the jewels of my collection are two Edison Diamond Disks that clock in at about a quarter inch thick and made of compressed wood grain coated with shellack.

awesome post, thanks!

couldn't have put it better myself, doctor.
looks like it's just a NERF bow with the avengers logo painted on the side...
it can compete with the art of Frank Frazetta, or Frank Stallone? ....i think you confused your Franks there...
you bet! they have some great 'high profile' licensed characters they will announce new books for later this year as well. #tips

while none of my work is represented in this first collection (i will be featured in multiple volumes coming later this year) i thought i'd spread the word, and this seemed like an appropriate place.

in a nut shell: new tales of classic pulp characters!

here's the official press release (with shiny pictures n stuff!): [allpulp.blogspot.com] thanks gang!

"Mr. Zippo, arm the self-destruct, and get to the escape pods in the hanger!"
".....you mean your Dodge Stratus in the tenant garage?"
"sigh.....indeed....."
not only that, this is disney, put 'princess' in the title, and you have a built in audience. even 'warlord of mars' would have a built in audience of general sci-fi goers. 'john carter' is just way to vague and confusing to the general audience. honestly, its just plain forgettable. if they were really worried about the 'mars' stigma, i would have voted for simply: "WARLORD" it's simple, it's bold, it says action. but hey, what do i know, i just do the lights....
and a shiny dragon whistle knife! (i keep mine in my boot)
dude, totally green one! Tommy was a rebel, a loner....
aw what!? i was all pumped for this movie! dang.....
WHAT??? no more art? you're nuts! you are insanely talented. the good news is you can be a writer AND and an artist at the same time (i can attest to that). i just hope you don't deny yourself that aspect of your expression.

oh, and for the record, i too have come up against the "what do i put on my biz cards? i do too many things! gah!" moment, and decided to go with my name, number/ email, and "Professional, discreet services". i figured they'd either think i was a male escort, professional hit man, or they'll remember that funny guy with the witty remarks. and if it turns out that person is not cool with things like lesbian hamster jokes, i probably don't want to work with them anyway...... ;)

glad you're still blogging #observationdeck

all you need in space for craft to craft warfare is exactly what we already have- bullets. they travel faster through space, than air, and one well placed shot through a window, or porthole and that's all you need. now of course you can't engage in personal one-on-one combat with hand guns inside a pressurized space environment, that's just crazy. the answer- swords.
