@Starlionblue: I'm all for scooter lanes, especially since I got mowed down by one in Beijing when I was standing on a freaking sidewalk.
Thanks for this article, I've read about the city but the documentary really puts it into perspective.
I used to date a guy that looked just like Thor. Well, his face anyway. =p
Weird, I'm a winter baby and I feel more alive during the colder months. My moods improve, I'm more active, I'm more comfortable in colder temps, and I generally look forward to it--I spend more time outdoors during the winter.

I get SAD-like symptoms in the summer when I feel like I'm freaking baking in an oven. I get depressed and I hate going outside. And I sleep more when it's hot.
@Klebert L. Hall: Sounds like a job for Miskatonic University.
@Scimarad: I think that's the best part of the trailer, otherwise I have no idea what this movie is supposed to be about. (Putting aside the commentary in the OP, of course)
Jekyll was awesome, awesome, awesome. I watched them back to back on Netflix last winter while I was snowed in for days, I was absolutely glued to it. Loved it.
@StandardResponse: I did... but after I was able to watch them in order on the DVD set. Damn shame the show never got off the ground, actually. But "Legend of the Rangers" is the one I would nominate for this list. I try to pretend it never happened.
In my own little world I've actually been buying more books than ever now that I have an eReader.
Ohhhh sweet mystery of life, at last I've found youuuuu!
I can only imagine how difficult it was to get the balance right on that thing. Very cool!
#5 is very cool, yet so impractical. Who's going to iron those pleats, hmmm?
@housermag: Yup I've seen that--and promptly blocked it out of my memory. :) His other movies were great though, I'd love to see more like that.
@corpore-metal: Oh definitely, I'll be putting this on my must-watch list.
@corpore-metal: When I first saw the article title I was hoping it was a new Tony Jaa movie. There just isn't enough Jaa. =(
@komododave: Yea, I'd like to see her focus on another area of the Potter-World. Like the other schools. Or something.
