Hey, I'm not necessarily defending the BI's on the basis of quality. It's just that if you were to make a list of things that Gawker is, "a site that posts copy/pasted blind items every day shortly after ten" would have to be pretty close to the top.
Isn't this basically Gawker's longest-running daily feature? You may not like it, but it's hard to see it as "out of place." It is this place.
