Well, the committee met and someone was heard to say, "Borges? Borges? We don’t need no stinkin’ Borges!!!"
Ah, but would it be the same case as the AT&T 4? or the Verizon 4? I know there are a lot of hybrid cases, but there are still some that specify the AT&T 4. Will they work on the 4S?
I was in Hollywood when bootleg VHS tapes of Blair Witch were being passed around before it had picked up Artisan as a distributor. At that point there was still the "it could be real" aspect. That was kind of killed when Heather & Josh started making Leno appearances to promote the film in theaters. But watching it before all the buzz and marketing was a memorable experience.
I used to use Disk Inventory X or GrandPerspective, but I'm a new fan of DaisyDisk.
There's a great RadioLab podcast with Chuck Close and Oliver Sacks, both of which suffer from this. [www.radiolab.org]

I spent the whole episode trying to figure out why the whole town got inoculations and not just the phase 3 candidates for the project…

University officials in Denmark began an investigation on Tuesday of media reports that students held a barbeque party serving up the meat of an okapi which had died of shock in Copenhagen zoo after hearing a concert of Chapman Stick music.

The rare, cud-chewing, giraffe-like African okapi threw a fit, collapsed and died last month in the zoo, killed by the noise of the Stick music played at a nearby open air concert given by the Royal Danish Stick Orchestra.

After its death, the five-year-old okapi was sent to Copenhagen University's Zoological Museum for skinning for research purposes, mammal section chief Hans Baagoe said on Tuesday.

He was unable to confirm the media reports that students last week stole the meat and cooked it at a barbeque party, but promised a full investigation.

The okapi, a mammal, is sensitive to unusual noises. In Africa it is a protected species.

(The irony being that to many, the Chapman Stick itself is a cryptid...)

"And it's interesting that only about 45 percent of ticket sales came from 3D — a similar figure is being reported for the new Harry Potter movie."

You realize, of course, the NEW Harry Potter movie still won't open ANYWHERE for a few weeks? So 45% of zero ticket sales being 3D is still zero ticket sales coming from 3D theaters...

My money's on River being the one in the space suit, killing the Doctor by the lake. After all, we know she's in prison for killing the best man she ever met…

And if we take it as a given that their timelines are consistently reversed, River will have killed the Doctor the very first time she meets him, and will live the rest of her life getting to know earlier versions of the man she killed.

My BlackBerry Pearl is 5 years old now... still functional as a phone, but not good for much else. My iPod Touch (3rd gen) has enough music and other apps on it for me to have with me at all times; and my latest addition is the Kindle, which I prefer to the iPod for reading extensively.

Some day an iPhone will probably replace and combine the BlackBerry and the iPod, but I've been waiting for the iPhone 5 or a better CDMA solution than the first genration of iPhone 4 for Verizon.
