@gerrrg: coffee-snob favorite Chemex coffee maker only requires near-boiling water, which you can make on a gas grille or camping stove.
@Platypus Man: I doubt it; Rainy opened up Rainmeter development to the community but doesn't seem to have done the same with Rainlendar.
Holy hell, is that the Codex Seraphinianus in the last screenshot?
@pskennedySOS: Uh, the USB is probably for adding external drives. NAS = network-attached storage, accessed via the Ethernet port on the mobo.

"In a gaming first, Siren Blood Curse will be released episodically,"

Their definition of "first" must not be the same as ours. Unless they mean it's the first time Siren Blood Curse has been released episodically, which is almost certainly true.

What exactly does middle-class even mean any more? Am I middle class because I went to college? Is it based on income-bracket or is it based on some sort of middle-class culture? Am I lower-class because I can't afford a car and I don't have insurance, or am I middle-class because I read Borges, hate NASCAR, and feel vaguely guilty about being a white male?
To many Medill students and grads, it's ridiculous that the guy who's supposed to have grand plans for our school's future:

a) Doesn't follow the practices that Medill teaches
b) May have fabricated quotes supporting his controversial new plan for Medill, which is criticized for removing emphasis on journalism best practices and focusing more on marketing.

Did he make up the quotes? Well, who knows? But he certainly can't cite who said them, how, when, or where. And that's just bad practice for someone who's supposed to represent the best of the j-schools.

That Levine was this sloppy really is telling. And kudos to Spett for calling him on it.

The cameraman's behavior was unprofessional and immature, and as a tech journalist I can't support it.

But it was also hilarious.

Mine's "Adventure". It used to be "Andrew" but I changed it. Semi-legally.
@Uglyshoe: Yes, the 360's GH controllers work with Rock Band. I've never used the Rock Band guitar but the GH guitars work just fine in the 16 or so hours of Rock Band I've played.
"Weighing in at 1,322 pounds, there are a couple more pics"

Those are the heaviest pictures I've ever heard of.
