As did Noam Chomsky, but some people still refer to him.

The problem with psychology is that far too many people rely on precedent over factual discovery. There are some people who still believe in duality even though that's clearly rubbish by this point.

The problem is that FAR too many psychology programs are almost completely disconnected from pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics and instead are almost entirely symptom-based. It's like trying to fix an engine just by listening to it and never opening the hood. "Oh it's probably because of blah blah 'cause it looks like blah blah" BUT YOU DON'T KNOW THAT BECAUSE YOU'VE NEVER ACTUALLY LOOKED AT IT, YOU ASSHOLE.
She's making psychologists everywhere look bad.
that's a dumb monkey, I tell ya what
Why does a game have to be challenging to be enjoyable?

A challenging game is not a hallmark of good game design either.

Yeah, if the artistic point of the thing is to be difficult, then that's understandable. I honestly don't have any specific points from literature or painting in mind, but for movies "El Topo" and "2001: A Space Odyssey" are both two good examples where difficulty in comprehension was part of the experience.

Clearly, Zelda didn't set out to be a difficult game, it set out to convey a sense of adventure and wonder. It had nothing to do with difficulty, that was just a by-product of it being one of the first examples of its kind.

Difficulty is not a hallmark of good gameplay design.

Is a movie good because it is difficult to understand? Or a novel? Or a painting?

I don't know where gamers got this shit from.

it looks very similar to my Sidewinder X6, except with the X6 I can actually put my numpad on the left side so I have more mouse room.
makes sense that he'd be working on it, though.
This looks...amazing...

I need this in my life.

I hate this so much.
Look, Tim's got his hand's full with the new Kickstarter game he's making. That shit's not even gonna come out until at LEAST the end of this year. We all gotta chill before we can even start talking about this again.
Hey, good for admitting your shortcomings, guy. I hope your console launch goes well.
my god, it's a real-life poppler.
Yes, it's using sex appeal to sell. It's also shaping up to be an extremely solid fighting game otherwise.
You do realize that Peacock has Dio Brando's steamroller as one of her projectiles, right?
Mike Z has said he wants in on the PC and there has been much talk about it on the forums.
