@Platypus Man: Basically in the game, the Smurfberries make the Smurfs work faster and harder. So PA likened the berries to meth. Everyone has obviously seen the Faces of Meth posters. This is the joke. Smurfberries are like meth.
@Rampage: So true. I probably sound like so many other people. I always find it messed up that I think of these things, and then not too long after, it becomes a reality. LOL.
It would make sense that I came up with this game idea last year, wrote down everything I thought about how the game should work and play out, and then this pops up.
This isn't the first time I have had an idea for something cool that I would like, and then shortly thereafter, it becomes reality. Big brother is listening me thinks.
That aside, I think this stands to be an awesome game if handled correctly. I would definitely lose some well earned hours playing something like this.
When the Nintendo 64 came out, my friends and I were playing Super Mario 64 when I somehow conceived the notion that the next Mario title would likely be Super Mario 128. It made sense, being 64 times 2. I lied like a rug saying that was what was going to happen. I told them to wait and see. It never did.
But low and behold, years later, I stumbled across this gem:
I have been a subscriber since day 1 of Xbox Live. For that, I have a nice number 7 beside my gamertag, which will soon turn over to 8. Here's looking forward to 10.
I have always enjoyed the fair pricing, the perks, the comfort of knowing it almost NEVER goes down, and never having to go out and grab a Live card for more time. It just takes care of itself.
I also got the 2 year renewal deal which nets me 1600 MS points soon.
A block heater is not even mentioned here. For extra cold places, like where I live in Northern Ontario, it is without a doubt the MOST important thing you need for the winter. Try starting your car without one after a night of -30 to -35 celcius temperatures. Good effin' luck! Big miss on that one.
I acquired Cannon Fodder on a multi-game CD back in the early 90's and dumped countless hours in to it. I do agree that it is one of the few games to acknowledge the remembrance of fallen soldiers in the war. The 16-bit poppy was synonymous with that game.
A giraffe wearing a business suit during the dinosaur age conversing with a time travelling Rick Astley whilst an epic laser iguana battle rages on in the sky.
The Mythbusters angle will be great to see as it will clear this up.
In the mean time, am I the only one who saw the bullet hop back towards the shooter? Watch the very beginning of the clip, right after he shoots, and you will see it hop backwards, away from the point of impact.
I kept clicking on one point in the video to rewind it, and eventually I could easily spot the bullet hopping backwards.
A favourite from my Mom for when I was in college.
Taco Goo
1 pouch Taco Seasoning (Old El Paso) 1 lb. lean or extra-lean ground beef 1 box Kraft Dinner
At the same time:
-Brown the ground beef and season with the taco seasoning as normal. -Cook the box of KD as normal.
Dump both finished products in to a crock pot/slow-cooker for heating and longevity.
Feel free to improvise. I add grilled onions and green peppers to my ground beef. My co-worker substitutes ground beef for ground caribou and adds crushed Doritos.
Need more for an office potluck? I up the ingredients to 2 of everything. It's that simple.
This stuff also can hold you over for a couple days with reheats in the microwave or on the stove.
