I knew going into this episode that it would be fun and plot-light, but did anyone else just feel like this whole thing was really poorly written?
If the boy had the fever before he got on the ship, he would've been marked with the "black spot" the first time the ship aligned with the other one. It had been days. The boy had to be drinking water at some point in that time, presumably from that very water barrel she almost came out of once everyone else joined him in the magazine. Why didn't see take him already?
If she can come out of something as small as a crown, or that medallion, why would breaking the windows and mirrors into shards that same size help any?
I get the meta joke about CPR, but that still doesn't excuse it being, to quote tvtropes, "Clean, Pretty, Reliable." It's enough to make anyone certified in administering real CPR twich.
I don't get why the tardis had to "leave on it's own accord." Yes, it makes sense, but it felt necessary and a little cheap to build drama. If they really wanted to do that twist justice, they could have realized it a lot better. The Doctor without his tardis is a very scary thing, but his reaction was more "Oh, dear, guess this episode is going to have to drag on a little longer now that I can't just teleport us all out of danger," instead of "Oh crap, for all I know I'm now permanently stuck in this time period."
I don't mean to be harsh, I still have complete devotion for this show, but even for a filler episode I feel it could've been better.
They always said I was crazy when I told them the end was neigh. Well I submit this as exhibit A. Now for exhibit B, my next door neighbor will recount how the mailman is stealing his paper. Aren't you scared now!
I am so psyched for this movie, I'm a huge Shakespeare nerd and The Tempest is one of my favorites just because I adore how differently it can be interpreted.
There aren't enough "no"s for this, one, the graphics are terrible, two, why on god's earth would you want a beautiful ballet turned into some cheesy kid!power crap, three, google "nutcracker," do you see anything that looks like that abomination? I don't think so.
