Actually, that's not true
Firefly never moved its timeslot, it was always on Friday night
Granted, it was the Friday Night Death Slot, but it was consistent
@Andrew Littler: Of course, of those you listed, most are reality/game shows
@collex: That, and the fact that no one seems to know what network it's on
@Dr Emilio Lizardo: As far as I know, the majority of Target Field was funded by public money. The difference between this and what the Vikings want is that the Twins got money from the county, the Vikings are asking for state money, and like most, the state is in a budget crisis.

The Vikings like to threaten the move to LA every few years. They point out that in the past, when we've lost teams (Lakers, Northstars) we've ended up paying more to bring a new franchise in than would be required to pay for the stadium
@Dr Emilio Lizardo: Because we refuse to buy them a new one
@Kavinskynet: Is it just me, or does he look like Freakazoid?
The spaceship from 8 1/2 would have been nice to see.
I love that one, mostly because I'm convinced its sole purpose in the movie is to be a huge waste of money
Fun thing was spending the rest of the day trying to explain to the professors what V for Vendetta was
@cletar: Three Mile Island was nothing
Chernobyl was a lesson in how to do everything wrong
This is why I can't get used to Pacific Time. People are seeing things before me
@RtFusion: Actually, the twist wasn't that it was the bible, that's fairly clear early on
The actual "twist" is something else, mostly about Eli
They do this on campus
I knew a grad student who signed up for it based solely on the description lasers and diamonds
Didn't Edward Norton say he wanted nothing more to do with the character after the film came out?
I seem to remember that
If everything we know is wrong, maybe we'll be able to come up with a new set of rules that can more easily form a grand unifying theory
We Come from the Future
