I still want to know what causes the rotating hexagon on Saturn.
Oh FFS do we really need all the PC bull$hit? Don't we get enough of that rammed down our throats every day?
@Gothamite88:

Yeah, I'm sure he's all worried about Fox's feelings. Fuck 'em.

The Messiah is prez there too? Looks like we're both f--ked.
"My main question is: How can this be a renewable energy source if you still need lots of energy to create the ultra-dense deuterium and power up those lasers?"

Yeah, I keep asking the "hydrogen is going to save the world" idiots the same thing.

I must be one of the three people who LIKED the Spawn movie. Pure popcorn fun all the way through. (And then he gets offed by the Joker.)
Is "jet-black" now a euphamism for "f-cking retarded"? That'd be like having one of the drug-runners at the beginning of Predator run up and shoot Dutch in the back of the head as he's waiting for the chopper after defeating the Predator and then crowing "oooh, ooooh, did you see my ultra dark ending, it was wicked man!" No wonder the audience booed.
@SinisterBill:

Goddammit Starbuck is a CHICK????

"a douchebag without charm who spends most of the movie yelling and getting beaten up"

Sounds like they nailed the Kirk Character then.

@Belabras:

Oh come on :-) I laughed my ass off at that line. LOL

I think they're giving WAY too much credit to humanity's invention. If people stopped typing guess what the internet would do. That's right. Not a goddamn thing. Oh sure, viruses would still spread but that's no more an example of sentience than a looping screensaver.
Wasn't that a Kai's filter?
@Garrison Dean:

It's called "Paralyzing Fear of Failure". "The Right Stuff" has retired and/or died. This current moon effort really is pathetic when you look at what they've done and planned in the past compared to what they want to do today.

@ParryLost:

At $10,000 a pound into orbit that's going to be some expensive goddamn electricity. That's why SP-413 (NASA Space Settlements Study - 30+ years ago) suggests starting out on the moon and then using solar powered mass-drivers to deliver construction materials from the moon to the construction site. Cost more upfront but in the long run much cheaper.

Already been looked at decades ago. One minor "oops" is the idea of transmitting the power to earth. Funny how many things are "new" simply because people haven't done their research. ;-)
Who the hell is "Greener Kamandi"?
