"Add killer Red Tide algal blooms fed by fertilizer runoff, swarms of killer Jelly Fish whose natural enemies have been overfished, Giant Squid coming up to the Continental Shelf, and a swirl of plastic & garbage larger than the Continental United States in the middle of the Pacific Ocean."
"@Lizzie24601: As a lover of both the Theremin & Kazoo I'd love to see that skit, and I bet the flailing Death Throes added to the comedy of the performance.
In the original recording of "Good Vibrations" the Theremin sound was performed by Paul Tanner on his Electro-Theremin or Tannerin, which does use a slide for pitch control & a knob for volume, and a copy of the original Tannerin is currently used by Brian Wilson in concert, but Wilson actually used an ondes Martenot, another Theremin-sounding musical instrument, for concerts & TV appearances from the '60s to '90s."
"@Cantonkid: Or Geoff Murphy's previous directing outing, also starring Emilio Estavez: Young Guns II.
This could've been such a great movie, being based on Robert Sheckley's novel Immortality, Inc, where disembodied Assassins chase the hero into Zombie haunted sewers and billionaires attempt suicide by hiring Man Hunters to chase them down.
O yeah, and the ending of the book didn't suck."
