Still have to finish the first game, but I'm definitely looking forward to this one.
I'm intrigued but a little disappointed at the same time. It's Bioshock with different story/settings/enemies/weapons/etc. That's not necessarily a bad thing. I just would have liked to see a more different concept and maybe a new IP.

That being said, I'm still pretty excited. That trailer was at least as amazing as the first trailer for Bioshock 1. And the story sounds fairly interesting.
Marty's Playland holds a lot of similar memories for me. Any trip to the boardwalk usually resulted in me spending most of my time in Marty's while my parents walked, ate Thrasher's, and shopped for chotchkes.

I still try to go in there for at least a little while on my yearly Ocean City trips.
@WonderingIsAll: Dude, you need to calm down.

I don't think anybody is saying Toriyama's art-style is infallible. I think they are just saying that they like it.

I see where you're coming from. I was also a little disappointed to find that my character creation options so resembled Goku, but you'd starting to be a dick about it. No need for that.

I, for one, really enjoy the old-style battle menus. Rather than "out-dated" and "basic", I see it as stream-lined (especially compared to older DQ games) and easy to understand.
X-Men: First Class, a.k.a. "lets cram as many characters and actors that people may have heard of into a superhero movie and throw it at the screen". Expectations are low.

And as much as I enjoy Chuck, Zach Levi is not Superman.

Nathan Fillion may not be the best Superman choice either, but it would be pretty rad if he got the part. I'd watch the hell out of it.
@ShadowStaarr: Only one of the Air Temples hangs upside down, and they don't reach that one until the third season (where Zuko catches up with them and the Fire Nation assassin attacks).

This one looked pretty accurate for the Air Temple that is shown during the first season.
I want to like this, but they need to show me something other than 50's looking dudes shooting at weird looking things. I'd also like to see how they are incorporating the base-building/resource-management/research/character-building from the original (If they are actually including those things).
@silver-bolt: Yeah, blue-spirit is from book 1. This movie is basically a condensed version of book 1.
@Paradox me: You have all the X-Com games, but never played one? Dude, you should play the first one at least.
@Hazmat Jose: Yeah I also thought that ending was odd. They both jumped straight in the air and stuck their feet out at each other.

I guess it was supposed to look like they were trying to jump-kick each other, but they had no forward momentum so it didn't really work.

But yeah, otherwise it was pretty great.
@Greg Lloyd: Also, that movie and Twilight Zone episode are both based on a short story by Richard Matheson.
The Lost people would be way better at this adaptation. I'm really scared that this is going to suck. Please don't make it suck, Ron Howard!
I wouldn't be surprised to see some folks sporting Dharma Initiative jumpsuits at future cons.
Why aren't the Wing Commander games on Steam yet?? Somebody get on this.
@Poul Wrist: It's a USB drive that comes loaded with the (I believe) stereo versions of all of their albums.
Maybe some King Bumi cameos?
@Yertle8: If it's this, I would be happy if it turned out fun. If it's just generic FPS, I will be sad.
@yogibimbi: You can update the RAM and HD on your 13" MBPro yourself. I've only upgraded the RAM in mine so far (from 2 to 4 GB) and it was super easy.
