If they got rid of all the sci-fi mystery stuff and made it an Alcatraz version of Oz, I think I'd actually like it more.

The Warden is my favourite character. Just wanted to state that.

Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas did a 24th anniversary special for their McKenzie Bros characters a few years back, he stated that would be the last time he'd appear in front of the camera, and it looks like he's kept his word.
Steve Carrell (49) and Kiera Knightley (26) I'm okay with, cuz Steve is such a lovable goof.

Mickey Rourke (59) and Megan Fox (25) however, makes me shudder.

Will Ferrell (44) and Genesis Rodriguez (24) kinda weirds me out cuz I find Will Ferrell creepy.

As for the movie, it's Another Earth or The Adjustment Bureau rom-com.

Lana Del Rey - Hunger Games (pretty good parody)

Even though her new album isn't all that I thought it'd be, I do like her sound. #tips

There was also a "What If? Venom/Deadpool" one-shot... which IMO was one of the worst comics I've ever read.
As much as I'm looking forward to The River, I gotta miss 30 mins of it to watch Raising Hope tonight, maybe someone can tell me what happens between 8:30pm-9:00pm.

Last night Castle was pre-empted due to Smash here in Canada... GAWD SMASH SMASH FOR THAT!

LOL great stuff.

This beats that fireplace channel that plays during the holidays.

Unfortunately (maybe fortunately) the latest Star Trek movie has set a new bar.

People are now used to, thus expect, the same level of action and fast-paced directing JJ gave us. The TV show will not be able to do that on a weekly basis.

As I've said before... old Trek: cerebral, social commentary, political... new Trek: whoosh, pew pew pew! Kaboom!

Sidenote: Nana Visitor (Major Kira) had a guest role in the last ep of Castle. She played a dog psychologist. It surprised me cuz I didn't recognize her right away.
*Sigh*

looking at those pictures makes me sad that I'll never see the day we traverse that vast distance, one end of the galaxy to the other.

Is it really a mainstream movie? Or an actual XXX porn flick? Or a porn parody ala Saving Ryan's Privates?

Maria Ozawa... :)

I wonder though, those "actors" engaged in a sex scene with Ozawa, what are they thinking? They're pretending to bang her when they oughta be banging her for real cuz that's her job.

I'm ashamed to call myself a Star Wars fans nowadays. Lucas's shilling has hit an all-time low.

Reissuing the movies in 3D, fast food tie-ins that feature black hamburger buns, slurp/suck candy things, etc.

Cool, thanks for the "official" link to the artist/creator, who just happens to be a fellow Canuck and is located 30 mins away from me. I may have to take a road trip soon. #observationdeck
I was looking for a new bedsheet set too.

That's 2 tornado flicks for Nicole DeBoer now... anyone see NYC: Tornado Terror?

I expect the same bad cheese from Metal Tornado.

Can they be fired off like Mario Kart?
And here I thought I was finished with homework. Now I have a book report to do. Nah, too lazy. Good luck to everyone who has read the book though.
I'm Canadian and too lazy to Google each candidates platform or stances, so any io9'er (or io9 itself) wanna make a comparison chart of Newt et al to popular sci-fi characters?

At least then I'll get the feel of who's who.

Jeebus. On this day, Jan 28 in 1887, snowflakes the size of cakes (15" wide and 8" thick) fell unto Fort Keogh, Montana. Why can't we get cool things like that? Hell, I'm in Canada so it should be a given! #observationdeck
