@mfwahwah: Don't count it out just yet, Kotaku Contests are notoriously underhanded....

<![CDATA[Ghede commented on Win A Copy of Civilization Revolution]]> @Ghede: At least, that is what I would infer from the examples, careful reflection made me realize that Z wasn't used at all.

]]>
<![CDATA[Ghede commented on Win A Copy of Civilization Revolution]]> "Canada, Ireland, and Vietnam" are not anagrams of Civilization Revolution, and they aren't anagrams of the individual letters either. They are words composed of the same letters as Civilization Revolution.

CIVLZATONREU are the letters you can use. You have to use each at least once, but more than once is allowed as well.

That is not an anagram.

<![CDATA[Ghede commented on Ending the World On a Tight Budget]]> I'm reminded of Betrayal at the House on the Hill, another WOTC/Hasbro game that is out of print.

Your characters were represented by hexagons with stats along the edges. The objective was to uncover the objective. Each game it could be different. Sometimes one player would become the betrayer, sometimes not. The real enemy in this game is the house. There is an online demo.

<![CDATA[Ghede commented on Alone In The Dark's Unbreakable Car]]> @Pete193: It's actually not that bad. Once you get used to the combat, it's entertaining. Some of the puzzles are freaking genius. There is this one after your first boss-fight in the museum... I'm not going to spoil it but when we finally figured it out our jaws dropped. It's a type of thing you would see in a cut-scene, but never actually play it yourself.

The game could have used a lot of polish, as the clip demonstrates, but it's not a bad game. Not the greatest, but not bad. I'd go as far as to say it is damn good. Rent it first. Play it at least twice. First time I played it I got pissed because I encountered a bug.

<![CDATA[Ghede commented on George Lucas Will Change The Way Hollywood Works — Again]]> @Garrison Dean, King Awesome: Man... now I want giant F-U Moneybins.

If I have to withdraw all my money in the bank as singles to fill it, I will. I need a full F-U Moneybin, regardless of content.

Now, what kind of bin to use... I'm thinking one of those green, wheeled, and lidded curbside trash bins with F-U painted in white. Maybe shoddy up the paint job a bit, dripping, a part where the green peeks through... in the style of any hand-painted sign you see in a post-apocalyptic movie.
