How about some posts giving a top 30 list of zombie books in the past decade.
Another idea would be a top 30 list of post civilization books that tell about life after most of humanity is dead and gone.
Both are interesting genres and deserve their top 30 list :D
Hey. I don't know who to ask, so I'm asking you.
When I signed up for an io9 account, god knows how many weeks ago, I was auto-assigned a username. But I see a lot of others who seem to have been able to choose for themselves. I changed my screen name to what I want, but the /people/ URL is still marius003. I was wondering if there's a way to change that..
Thanks for your time.
Thank you for the promotion to "Star" commenter.
I look forward to many centuries of quality interaction with my fellow IO9ers.
I feel honored to be adopted into the family and will respect the privilege.
Thanks again!
Nothing but love,
Zantor
Question about the book The Difference Engine.
Is it written by William Gibson?
A tip of the hat for steering me to abebooks.com It has become a new favorite place to browse and buy. Damn, spent almost $30 just this morning.
No problem, although I was quite excited until I researched it. I figured then that you must have been kidding. It would have been great!
The movie of Ragtime was terrible, though.
Thanks! I posted it up on my Deviantart page, totally forgetting that they're anal about movie stills, and it was removed from the site about 5 minutes later.
Actually, right after I sent you that message, I came home and found the little message letting me know that my package had arrived and was waiting in the post office.
I was too quick to judge the Russian.
Well, we can't win them all.
I ordered a neat-looking cigarette case on E-Bay to make a new iPod carrier, but I think I was tricked by the Russian I bought it from.
Thank you for your suggestions. I've been thinking about alternate treatments of space (like negative depiction the moon landing), and I think I may add a piece about them to my final project. At this point, I also appreciate anyone who can avoid tirade, so again, thanks.
