So it's not available to view outside the US? WTF? Are they only going to release the movie in the US too?
Bawidamann is one of my favourite artists and I've got some of his prints at home (which he was cool enough to sign before mailing).

And my last tattoo was based on his Cosmonaut Pin-up

The talk turned a lot of people off and was a major talking point at the drinks afterwards and on Twitter during the presentation (check out #webstock and #webstock09 tags).

For me the talk was about "Don't be too proud of this technological terror you've created", i.e. one severed cable and you're back to square one.

I was surprised at the amount of anger at what Bruce said, especially from other presenters. But the funniest sight during Bruce's talk was a guy at the table in front of ours who was hunched over his laptop playing World of Warcraft. Take THAT Sterling!

I found Bubba Ho-Tep really dull and not very good at all. Which was annoying because it seemed like a "can't lose" situation.

But Giamatti + Perlman seems like a good match, I'm willing to give it a second shot (how big of me)

I recently purchased the Kings of Leon's S*x on Fire.

I was praying they hadn't added a saxophone to the band.

The arms and the back look like denim, that's manly enough isn't it?

But anyone who doesn't like the brown uni is probably the type of person who thinks wearing lace-up shoes is "a bit gay".

The Castle in the Sky Robot is on the roof of Ghibli Museum. I've been and it's awesome! (no photos allowed inside though)
Here's my pic of the robot

My favourite story about Stan Winston was when they smashed the T-Rex into the Spinosaurus, he felt really sad. Mainly because the T-Rex got beaten up, but also because he didn't want to smash up his work, no matter how cool the bang was.
There seems to be a lot of ways to send emails from Gmail without logging in (Which is great because of my office's ban on gmail).

But how can you receive emails without being logged in (again to get around the work ban) and without forwarding them.

Please ignore my earlier comments...

I got flash ver9 off my laptop and updated firefox portable on my work computer. It works perfectly and is now better than the work-mandated IE. Fantastic Lifehack!

except now that I check the system32\Macromedia\Flash\ folder all that's there is flash.ocx and something called getflash.exe.manifest
This is the tip I've been waiting over a year for! Thanks guys.

ps. I tried the update on the flash drive, but it didn't work when i brought it to work.

Didn't the Wachowskis direct V for Vendetta too?
this contest entry does not contain a witty comment
The "white wine for red wine" trick is a good one (don't get them mixed up).

We got a carpet cleaner one day and he told us that white vinegar was a good solution but only as a last resort as it can harshly bleach your carpet.

And (just as an aside) he recommended sunlight and rain (and then sunlight again) to get rid of smells.

You plug whatever piece of electronics distracts you (in my case the Wii) into a "timer plug". You know, the ones that turn on lamps while you're on holiday. This means there is only a particular window of time when you can use the distracting item each day.

Just remember to save your game/work before the power turns off.

I submitted this tip the other day but haven't seen it come up yet (sniff) :)
