Dan says jack and kate and hurley arent meant to be there. Maybe their being there is the difference? Without them having been there, no one is there to tell eloise why dan was walking into otherton looking for her?
I dont understand why he had to go in their waving that damn gun around. that was very unnecessary and very uncharacteristic of Dan.
And all of this H-bomb business is quite dubious. Blow up the island? thats a bit nutty.
Three seasons later, they are all just angsty, jumpy, angry and vengeful, chasing their tails to no real end. They arent regular people with extrordinary powers anymore, they are regular powers with uninteresting people. with constantly furrowed brows. I've always said that the savior of this show would be to rotate a bunch of new powers in because the slew we have now is too much like the main crew of X-men but just a little more boring.
It took me a long time to accept this but i dont think heroes can be saved. I think it has to die so that in a few years, or a decade, someone can attempt this again and do it right.
I guess I cant expect them to answer all of my lost questions. but they damn well better try.
If not, there better be some official release of canon info and answers to the unanswere question after the series finale. Or there. Will. Be. Hell. To. Pay.
Certain people fit into the lost universe, others do not.
Remember bai ling?
my frist thought was that they had all been infected with the sickness.
but i like yours better.
eh while io9 calls itself a sci fi blog, it covers much more than that, including revisionist history and alternate realities, kings being some combination of the two.
i could have worded this better.
SERIOUSLY that back to the future bit has ALWAYS bothered me. Always always. Just violates the rules. Lost is far too involved to just foggily not remember.
GOOD one. that makes perfect sense, and also sort of explain's the others having little or no problem killing people.
im going to be working on this one for a while.
how bout some maple syrup wrestling as festivities?
oh my, we are GAY
well put.
so what exactly informed minimatt's power?
a desire to bring his toys to life?
i guess thats all i wanted when i was a kid.
makes sense.
normally i would say hell no but i understand your need so yes.
I already have my plan on how im going to meet him and woo him.
it will be beautiful.
Peter....nay, Milo.... doing the gay thing....tell me this isnt the only scene where he is being gay and stuff...
It probably is. Thats okay, I'll happily settle (which it would hardly be as I have a folder dedicated to him) for Zachary Quinto as my future hubs.
more types of powers
more showing of powers
more powers developing plot.
dont give a crap about a baby with a power, and what a weird freakin power. If we lived in a world without technology, how would that power work? im sure you will respond that micah's power poses the same problem and i agree with you but its still more practical than an on switch- its really just a watered down version of micah's power anyway, which is a watered down version of hannah's power.
Also- if tracy can turn herself to ice (and live, which she did, duh), how does she turn back if someone doesnt shatter her? That was one X-Men rip off I really enjoyed.
Also- what was going on with Janice's super-deco house?
AND how on earth would Danko's operation be able to justify to the world that a baby is a terrorist threat? Were they gonna stick an electric thing in him too? that would kill him.
I need to know what Ando's power is. I love the super-boost part, but i assume its some kind of adrenaline kick which would actually make a human stronger? thus pointless in a fight?
im pretty sick of angela patrelli. i was ready for her death.
and here I was surprised that ballard and echo were meeting face to face so soon.
for the record-
this show WAS sweet from the start. I have yet to finish an episode and not be creeped out by whatever little memory she displays that she isnt supposed to have.
Shoulder to the wheel!
The premise of the trilogy is that the dinosaurs were always intelligent, but lived tribally, until homo sapiens started to emerge. They tried to make peace with the homo sapiens but the sapiens just killed them, so they disquised themselves with mud and sticks to appear as homo sapiens and- 65 billion years later- live among us disguised as humans under complex latex body suits, and thus all evolved to be roughly human sized, but still celebrate and live in their dino communities.
They are really sweet books.
And the end of last nights episode WAS sweet- the sylar/hunter moment, the nathan/claire moment- but it will all lead to where it always leads- build up to anti-climax.
And sylar and peter are super-powered hot. And nathan has hot moments too.
They all just make really really bad decisions.
And none of them use their powers nearly as much as they should or in the millions of ways and capacities that they could.
I dont care about a baby with powers. I really dont.
Obviously Micah is rebel. It will be hilarious and awesome when they figure this out. He must have gone through puberty by now because....well its just going to be really freakin silly when they bust into his place and all hopes of resistance are totally lost.
and why havent they gone after micah yet? his name is on that board.
And....the only reason I watch this show is to see people use their powers. Please stop repeating powers in characters and use them at least once or twice in every scene.
thank you.
