You can blame the protectionist policies of the publishers for the prices. They've always done whatever it takes to prop up failing mom-and-pop hobby shops.
@atrus123: Back in 1999 when I built my first computer, I told everyone AMD was going to be big - they were nobody then. If I had any money it would have gone into AMD stock. Just $1000 in AMD would have netted me $50k today. -.-
@RabidTurtl: $4 shipping kills that deal - that's sold by a third party not Amazon, so there is no Prime or FSSS available. Monoprice doesn't have anything like that going on.
@Spaceboy: You should have told them you fought dinosaurs on Isla Nubular. Edit: Oh yay, I didn't know I still had my Lifehacker star, why Gizmodo WHY?!
@James K Polk, Napoleon of the South: You're mistaking side-steps for innovation. So they made the same game, changed what you'd expect them to change, added 1-2 gametypes, and added GASP screenshots and movies (which PC gamers have had for years...). AMAZING!. /sarcasm.
@WhoKnew?: At what? Black Ops? Seriously, trying to defend Black Ops is just plain silly. Everything in BO could have been added via DLC. And the single player is pretty weak. No campaign co-op? Really?
@JCDenton: @sh0tgunn0strils: The campaign is shite. It's no better than MW2 in single player - ok well it's marginally better. The single player campaign is short and linear, with what again ultimately ends up as a pretty silly story.
