You know, back several years ago I read a series of Star Trek/Sailor Moon crossover fanfiction. If I remember right there were several stories at least one for each of the ST series out at the time, TOS, TNG, DS9 and Voyager. They were really good and stayed true to Star Trek and Sailor Moon, at least the American version of SM (which was flawed from the original Japanese version from what I understand but whatever).

I would never really have considered wacky crossovers like that going mainstream however. Can we get Firefly/Doctor Who next? Doctor Who/Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy maybe?

I think I get more creative with my writing when I am drunk. The problem is I am a bad typist to begin with and once I have had a few drinks and go on a writing spree I can hardly make it out later.
Odd, the comments say that this is a great anime, but this post about a porn parody is the first I have heard of the show.
Hate to break it to you, but Transformers was Transformers without Transformers. Transformers was "Shrapnel the Movie Staring The Beef"
"Predicting when a complex system will go through a sudden change is hard..."

Just stay away from any button's labeled 'Self Destruct'.

Minecraft will never die. It has five million sales (that is just sales, not players) and has a huge modding community that the creator of the game supports.

Also polka will never die! ...just like to throw that out there.

This is why copyright should have a shelf life, so that thing that are old and no longer produced can be shared and remembered or remade into something new. There is a vid on youtube that talks about copyright and how it keeps some great creative works from ever being made. It is a great view, let me go find it.
For Space-to-Planet weapons my fav is something they had on Discovery channel a while back. It was called the Rod of God. It is simply a long rod of metal that is drop from orbit in a precise trajectory and falls on a target after re-entry. No fuel, no warhead needed. A weapon based on simple physics.
What are you saying? Do you think you would NOT look good as a hobbit? Elijah Wood looked better as a hobbit than he did in any other movie he has done and possible better than he does in real life with the possible exception of the movie 9.

Now I am off to cut my legs down to the knee.

Why does this cost 45K? My cousin built something similar for about 3K not including monitors or PC which will very depending on your setup. But really, I bet you could build something almost the same for less than 5-6K and make it look just as pretty.
But then we get Shatner bringing back Kirk in book form with The Return. The Born-Romulan alliance was very interesting.
I'm not sure if they have given an in series explanation other than "Lots of planets have a north." However, they have shown that Timelords can have some control over their regen if they choose to when River regened.
I agree with everything you said, but I would accept a sequel if it had no story ties to the first. A spiritual sequel if you will. The combat system and pin lvl system was great. Now I want to go get those pin button on ebay if the guy still does them...
This is probably the last time I post something on this subject since is just goes in circles but here goes.

My library of games would have fewer games in it that I have paid money for for 2 reasons. The few games I have pirated have basically been treated as demos and have allowed me to fine out if a game is worth the money being asked for it. I do research most games I have bought but as much as I like TotalBiscuit, OdysseyGamez, and the like that do game reviews, watching vids and actually playing a games are two different things. Second, after pirating and then buying games that deserve it (I delete immediately any game that I do not find worthy of being bought) I keep an eye on the makers of said game for future releases of them because if I like one game by them I will probably like others.

I do not hate you for your stance, I applaud it. I like people that have a principle and stick with it. However, don't blame pirate for bad DRM practices. If you read sites like Torrentfreak you will find studies have been done that show that pirates purchase more games, music, movies, books etc., than others because they are the ones who consume those things the most. Also, it has been shown though surveys and from personal experiences of game makers, musicians, writers, movie makers, that piracy can and often does lead to increased sales. All the entertainment companies, large and small have kept up good sales and sometimes even record profits over the last decade even with the rise of the internet and the ease of piracy. Despite the good times all these entertainment companies are having right now they use piracy as an out to make harsher DRM to gain more control over the games you buy because that will allow them to gain more profits. I don't blame companies for wanting more money, it is what they are.

In short, I'm happy that you have a world view that works for you and you stick to it. Not many people do. However, you will not convince me same as I can not convince you. So let's agree to one small thing. No progress will be made in the comment section of a blog where any harshly divided subject is discussed. It will just degenerate into holier-than-thou attitudes and name calling, thanks to the anonymity of the internet. I think it is better for the community to just let this one go for now.

The goth's voice has got to be a contender for worst voice to character matchup in a game. I know the game is not supposed to be serious but I really wish they had matched that guys voice better.
Can't wait for Blackout! Where is my zombie poking stick?!
For some reason I thought you played a robot in the the fight against humans. I would play that game.

Also, how about this: You play a robot servant in the post zombie Apocalypse who has to try and save its human owners while killing zombies in a huge future city like Mega City One.

Devs, get on it!

I don't know the details of this guy's story but from reading this post I hope he gets home safely.
On a side note, also in the story I ran may be trying to make a nuclear weapons program. I really have to question any rising country trying to get nukes. What do they hope to accomplish?
Do they think that if they have a nuke or ten or a thousand that the US and the other developed countries of the world could not stop them militarily?
Do they actually intend to use them which would fuck everyone over especially a poorer country like Iran? Do they intend to build up just to have richer countries pay them off?
Wouldn't be more cost effective to play nice with the rest of the world while muttering "assholes" under their breath every time we walk by?
I really don't understand the mentality of some countries that want to build up their military like they have plans for world domination. It seems to me that large scale war is not as effective as it use to be. War technology had gotten too good. If you want to beat out other countries, build your economy and challenge the world monetarily like China has.
Did you know that memos make the best paper airplane building material? True story. Something about the way no one pays heed to anything written on them make for better flights.
Come on man, it is superpowers. Who says you can't have the bucket in your head? Superman can fly into SPACE after all.
