I would never really have considered wacky crossovers like that going mainstream however. Can we get Firefly/Doctor Who next? Doctor Who/Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy maybe?
Just stay away from any button's labeled 'Self Destruct'.
Also polka will never die! ...just like to throw that out there.
Now I am off to cut my legs down to the knee.
My library of games would have fewer games in it that I have paid money for for 2 reasons. The few games I have pirated have basically been treated as demos and have allowed me to fine out if a game is worth the money being asked for it. I do research most games I have bought but as much as I like TotalBiscuit, OdysseyGamez, and the like that do game reviews, watching vids and actually playing a games are two different things. Second, after pirating and then buying games that deserve it (I delete immediately any game that I do not find worthy of being bought) I keep an eye on the makers of said game for future releases of them because if I like one game by them I will probably like others.
I do not hate you for your stance, I applaud it. I like people that have a principle and stick with it. However, don't blame pirate for bad DRM practices. If you read sites like Torrentfreak you will find studies have been done that show that pirates purchase more games, music, movies, books etc., than others because they are the ones who consume those things the most. Also, it has been shown though surveys and from personal experiences of game makers, musicians, writers, movie makers, that piracy can and often does lead to increased sales. All the entertainment companies, large and small have kept up good sales and sometimes even record profits over the last decade even with the rise of the internet and the ease of piracy. Despite the good times all these entertainment companies are having right now they use piracy as an out to make harsher DRM to gain more control over the games you buy because that will allow them to gain more profits. I don't blame companies for wanting more money, it is what they are.
In short, I'm happy that you have a world view that works for you and you stick to it. Not many people do. However, you will not convince me same as I can not convince you. So let's agree to one small thing. No progress will be made in the comment section of a blog where any harshly divided subject is discussed. It will just degenerate into holier-than-thou attitudes and name calling, thanks to the anonymity of the internet. I think it is better for the community to just let this one go for now.
Also, how about this: You play a robot servant in the post zombie Apocalypse who has to try and save its human owners while killing zombies in a huge future city like Mega City One.
Devs, get on it!
