I kinda wish Hugh Jackman wasn't Wolverine in this adaptation. It's going to be such a different film. It's like putting Woody and Buzz into Saw or something.
"Start a new thread" ? is that a new comment? Right, whatever. I like the new design. I never get in a fit over YouTube updates, nor an update like this. I don't like change, like most geeks, but again, this is seemingly wonderful.
Hope all the kinks gets fixed out.
Weird that io9 is seemingly the first site to get the facelift though.
Woo! Noel Fielding! I'd love to see him get his claws into US tv, but I think his humour, overall, is too much of an oddity. Russell Brand's works in film, his... won't. I wonder if he's toured in the US though...
I like it when actors surprise me. I love Skins (UK) so it'll be interesting seeing him in such a different role, especially with an Ameri... I mean, Tauron accent.
The fact he's geeking it up reminds me of Matt Lanter: during the day, he's some rich kid on 90210, during the night, he's Anakin Skywalker!
The directing was uninspired, the writing was trite and the acting wasn't particularly good either - but I did freakin' love every second. It's not even a smart film, yet I found ideas it in that interested me and surprised me.
So, we're either getting TRON IN REAL LIFE or, more likely, a Lando-esque character turning up.
