It would kinda bog down the gameplay, unless they radically changed the game to be more like, IDK, Far Cry 3.

Hang on, I think we're onto something here.

Well, you se

You mean talking about talking about video games.
Why can't he have this colorist all the time?
There is an entire book full of backstory. Go read Fall of Reach. Chief don't have many friends, so if he's actually making jokes ("shoot my way out") that means he's really close with whoever. He has given everything--childhood, romantic possibilities, social life, everything--except his life for the UNSC, and that last one not for lack of trying.

Other Spartans tend to be more demonstrative in the games (Reach) and books, though.

You're kidding, but a lot of people who kvetch about DLC seem to have completely forgotten that studios did, in fact, sell extra content before they could reliably do so over the interwebs.

Then when I point it out, they say it was different because it was more content. Yes? And? Extra content sold post-release. It happened. [DealWithIt.gif]

Just so I'm clear: XCOM is about a secret agency fighting aliens with reverse-engineered technology, right?
"And I just got back from a paintball game and didn't have time to change."
I don't recall WWW's drag thing being transphobic. Just not very funny. Like the entire movie.
You did see him use perfect trigger discipline with the AK, right? He has some sort of gun experience.
Did he...did he just put the gun back in the holster without safing it? While it was pointed at his other hand?
I like his movies, because I go in expecting lowbrow summer blockbusters. Everyone complaining seems to be expecting something Bay makes no pretenses whatsoever of being.

I also think they tend to confuse volume with popularity.

You are literally telling people to stop having different opinions than you.

Stupid formatting glitch. I didn't say anything about blackmail. Studios provide a service like any other. If the customer can't afford it, pity for them.
>If the whole point of the film is to be a joke, why is it being played so straight?

You don't need a wink at the camera every five seconds to be a joke. Take Penny Arcade's Cardboard Tube Samurai. The premise is that a simple cardboard tube can be as effective as a katana. Every single strip based on it arises from that inherently ridiculous start.

Apparently so. Note how all the relevant definitions include "deception"? He was about to be eclipsed by Sentinel. Manipulation, sure. Trick? Not so much.

He is a giant, spiky, silver robot. Kinda stands out.

That never happened.

You mean that story about the guy who repurposed a child's mask of a famous British rebel and was more than a little influenced by 1984?
