This happened to my brother and to one of his coworkers about 2 weeks ago.
My military PW would take 2 trillion years.. wtf?
@Kitradu: You only get $35.85 free if you buy all of those games.. Not really much of a deal.
@tucker augie'ben'doggy: Apple signed in on that contract because no one else would touch the iPhone. Having a cell phone is not a god given right, like you seem to think it is. AT&T (or wasn't it Cingular, originally? I can't remember) had to change their network to work with the iPhone. This extra cost could have been lost if the iPhone flopped. By your logic, as soon as the iPhone was successful, and other carriers changed their networks to work with it, then they should have been allowed to break AT&T's contract with Apple? AT&T is reaping the benefits of the the chance they took with Apple and as well they should be.

Also, by your logic, I should be able to buy OSX and install it (legally) onto anything I want. That isn't how it work or will EVER work. When a private company makes a product, no matter what product that is, it is their choice to design how that works. This includes any contracts they sign that involves said products.
@nutbastard: Are you kidding me? I have a 6-pack of Guinness in my fridge right now.. I guess I don't know where you live.. but its everywhere in WI. :)
I've never had a fit of road-rage.. but if I saw those bumper stickers on the road....................
@Jthmeffy: actually, someone on youtube did the gruntwork [www.youtube.com] #r2d2
@PuckDaddy: It's real.. since today is technically the 17th, I checked it on a "legit" copy of Star Trek.. um.. *cough* Anyway, its there. #r2d2
@oxford: Don't worry.. I'm sure he is wearing his tin-foil helmet underneath it; stops that harmful radiation AND stops the CIA from reading your thoughts!
@coan_net: The atm card is the second form they need.
@friendslikeJimRome: Depends on where you live. For me, its cheaper to own than it is to rent (1600 sq/ft house), so it makes more sense than renting.
@Julia789: I have some bad news for you: Cows are stupid, stupid animals. Love is a complex emotion; it is a bit beyond the abilities cow. What you saw was instinct and nothing more.
@aswearengen: or you could *gasp* get the phone number and ask them your nearest ones
@Wewtaco: Do you ride? And if you do, do you wear a full -face helmet? If so, unless you buy the cheapest DECENTLY RATED helmet (Scorpion/HJC/etc), you most likely spent around that much for a helmet. My Arai cost me about $500, and it was ON SALE. Good helmets (that protect you well - wal-mart specials do NOT) are not really cheap, and this helmet has more features than the company's cheapest model. That being said, I won't wear anything other than a full-face helmet. When you are riding a motorcycle, you go forward; take a guess what part of the helmet is most likely to come under damage during an accident (here's a hint: it is NOWHERE that a 3/4 helmet covers). I also don't trust this design because part that flips up really isn't made to hold up to a crash in the way a full-face helmet does.
@Jthmeffy:
and after reading the list.. The only people that DON'T at least attempt to do everything mentioned probably don't visit this site..

@Shadowman615: mostly because the banks took that money so they wouldn't die and are hording it to themselves... I don't believe they ever had any intention to keep the consumer credit line open
@visualbowler: Drew was in Japan as an exchange student when he bought his DS. When is time in Japan was up, he came back to the US. After he had gotten back home, his DS broke. Nintendo could have caused a big stink about the Japanese product trying to be turned in under warranty in the US, but they didn't.

IMO, it shouldn't matter where the fuck you bought the goddamn thing... If it's under warranty, they should fix it. If they don't, it is just a way for the company to put loopholes in place with their products to ensure that at least some warranty repairs wont have to be honored. This is a very shitty business practice, and unfortunately most companies get away with it.
