I'm also having a blast playing this. It's a great change from the regular mode (I'm looking at you 60min games) and the hectic, frantic style is wicked fun to play. It's neat that even though you can be outkilled 3-1 you can still win if you have a smart team capping the right towers. I really like the start at level 3 with 1200 gold and the gradual rate that your experience bar constantly fills up at. Twenty minutes in and you are max leve with a sweet collection of powerful items, wicked!!
I've played in three of the small beta windows for Dominion and it is really fun. Very fast paced. It's a nice change from the regular mode (I'm looking at you 60min games). You start at level 3 with 1200 gold and as the game progresses your experience bar gradually fills up and you accumulate gold at a rate of 3 per second. Combine that with kills and captures and about 15-20 min you find yourself max level with an array of sweet items. My other friends who play LoL a lot more than I do (only 12) think it's not nearly as strategic as the normal mode, so far it seems that way. However, I've been in games where my team has been outkilled 3 to 1 but because we captured points better and didn't chase kills, we ended up winning. All in all it's really fun, and hey that's the point.
looove ratchet and clank. Great pacing of new weapons and weapon upgrades make blasting enemies highly entertaining.

Yeah I think you're right, they are a thing of the past, at least in their effectiveness. I remember playing FFIX and having certain save points before cutscenes so I could reload and watch them when I wanted, but you're right it was definitely the graphical jump from in-game to cutscene that made them exciting (as well as seeing your favourite characters looks badass). Now with youtube it's much easier to watch them whenever you want.
I love stuff like this...just when we think we have some small understanding of the vast and complex universe it turns and says "lol gtfo".
This looks really funny. I especially love the multiple shots of the characters waving their swords around in some kind of epic figure eight, ahaha.
Since the collectors edition launches on the 22nd can we expect some sort of "first impressions" article? That'd be great.
I'll check it out. Even if the story telling is a copycat Lost that doesn't mean it can't be compelling. There are some great Fringe episodes that are 100% monster of the week like stargats sg1 or many other shows, and it can still entertain. Although Fringe does have Walter in its favour.
Walter Bishop has a cow in his lab. Win.
Looks like a cousin of mine...
I picked it at random off the shelf at chapters. One of the coolest books I've ever read.
@Twisk: Yes...yes he did. lawl
@leftatmars: and I thought my friend and I were the only ones who had actually seen this film haha. I agree though, the poster is clever.
excellent. I have been trying to get my friends to watch this show but have been unable to convey how much awesome is wrapped up in it. This post does just that. THANK YOU
@natanku: That alien race is one of my favourite things about the ME unvierse, I laugh everytime.
