@sapperhedge: We may have that form in existence today. Great thought! Dolphins? What an amazing restriction to live in the ocean and have no thumbs. How many human beings without the ability to speak have we condemned as being unintelligent?
@lodown: The real question is why did they leave?
The mentioned time scales really makes me think that given the short time that it took humans to develop into intelligent life, why couldn't intelligent life have developed way before we ever arrived. With the millions of years that it took for the various reboots to occur it would easily explain the disappearance of any proof. Maybe a previous civilization has already landed on the moon or even other planets. That's a neat thought.
@Thirty: Haha, after looking for PLD so often I think I might join them. GLD for the party invites!!

Is it possible to get a picture of what the wound looks like now? I would like to see how well that healed. Nice touch with the sutures, instead of using staples or stitches which would leave scars themselves. Was the skull fractured? Interesting wound to have survived.
Right now I'm running a similar setup except I am using my PS3. I still pay comcast for cable internet service though. A good way to think about this idea is to imagine life with only cable TV or only internet/PS3/360. I think everyone given the choice of one or the other would drop Cable TV instantly.
With this device you wouldn't be able to lie. Think of those implications.
Is that Joe the Plumber?
Is that Joe the plumber?
Is this a port from PSP to ps3? I'm not sure what's going on here. I see that a few people complain about the gameplay of the previous Dynasty Warriors. I say try playing dynasty warriors co-op split screen with a friend next to you. It is the only way to play this type of game. Trying to outdo each other with Muso kills and running wild on kill numbers is awesome fun. These games have a lot of things right, and a few things wrong. Its fun and sometimes that's the most important thing.
FF14 Pugilist = FF11 Monk FF14 Gladiator = FF11 Paladin FF14 Marauder = FF11 Warrior FF14 Lancer = FF11 Dragoon FF14 Archer = FF11 Ranger As far as I can tell. Pugilist is a nice twist on the monk name I think. www.merriam-webster.com defines Pugilist as : fighter; especially : a professional boxer #finalfantasyxiv
Medical School is a professional degree is one reason. Another reason I think is that becoming a medical doctor gives you a job with high income so they think you can pay it back I suppose. 35,000 per year in Medical School is about average I think for the US. 35,000 might be low actually. In total I will owe around 150,000 after 4 years of Med School. One reason that doctors need to make a good amount of money is the fact that you are starting out in such a big hole. #nightnote
I am in my second year of medical school in the US. I already owe over 60,000 dollars. #nightnote
This isn't the only thing the PSN is offering now. The Venture Brother's Season 4 episodes have arrived. The thing about this is that 3 days ago when they were not on PSN I could watch the episodes for free through my PS3 web browser on the Adult Swim website. Now amazingly the browser does not support the flash that Adult Swim is using. I find this very frustrating. I experienced the same thing when I first started watching Hulu and it blocked the PS3 browser. It is one thing to offer something for a fee and another thing to blatantly force you to pay for a free product. I would have probably bought the Venture Brother's episodes anyway. This sort of pisses me off though. #playstationnetwork
@Dr Durdon: I have a 320 gb hard drive in my ps3 at the moment and it has about 120 gb free space. I have all 50 episodes of Eureka 7, every Venture Brother episode and various other videos. Plus with the video store that Play Station Network supports I have lots of movies and various impulse buys saved. You can also stream media from any pc straight to the ps3 without re-saving it. I also have linux installed taking up some space. On the linux system I have almost all NES and SNES games saved as emulators. Sort of difficult to get working but super nice to have. #sony
