It seems that this article forgets about one key element in the whole "lax attitude towards befriending [and then doing] new people"-argument, and that is follow-up.
So many opportunities got lost during the days before social networks.

@Whyaduck: I also spotted the assless chaps and briefly thought: "Alright, gayfest in the back of the cargo plane", but then I realised that the guy was probably just wearing skin-coloured pants and I was a little disappointed.

Theres a book called "The Bible" which starts at the creation of everything as we know it, goes on to make some dips in human history, and then foretells the end of human existence/universe and ultimate transportation to another plane called "heaven".
