"...they do not endorse this product." LOL

One cock ring to rule them all?

I actually agree. It's sort of a metaphor about how things out of your control can happen at any time so appreciate the things and relationships you have now. Oh yeah, and it's scary as shit.
The Japanese are aliens! Twist!
THOR 2: Wrath Of Mangog!!!!
Start filming please...
First of all: ask Bill Murray if there was ANYTHING that would get him to do the movie. Then do that very thing. Whatever it is. If not...

Don't make the movie.

But, if you must, probably a reboot or a clean cut handing of the franchise over to some new faces is the next best idea. But if you've gotta use the old guys and Bill won't play ball...

Get Jack Nicholson. Who cares if he's old, he'd be great. He looks as good as those other bastards anyway.

Best idea ever (as someone mentioned below) - Bruce Campbell and (I would like to add) in the role of all the Ghostbusters!

No. Just unnecessary clarification I suppose. For those who might not know, "U.F.O. show" might have been too generic. At least that's what I suspect I was thinking at the time.
Did Rob Liefeld ever draw Dazzler? That would be interesting...
Okay, I'm not particularly emotionally attached to Space: 1999. Back in the day I preferred the UK's U.F.O. show. Still, I think if they keep the right elements and walk their talk of writing good scifi stories then it could be good.

To me, all they really have to have is a moon base and a Kubrickesque approach to their direction and story-telling in order to make it truly connected to the original show in any meaningful way, besides just the name. Paying homage to the original show through updated designs and character names is a no-brainer. Even a more modern approach to a Protean shape-shifting character could be cool.

What I'd like to see is a show that takes a realistic look at futurism and fringe science (and where the fringes might be nearly 100 years from now) crossed with enough character development and drama to keep it interesting. I think Space: 2099 could be a good platform for that.

I'm intrigued.

Seal Centipede
It's the only sensible answer.
Definitely a candidate for the "most depressing jigsaw puzzle" category.
Edited post edit. Nothing to see here.
This article really makes me miss B5...
Supernatural has already milked this idea dry (and excellently I might add). SyFy needs to wait a few more years.
I'll be happy if the crossover includes Gary 7.
fate47: OK I know my geek cred is on the line but where is the pic from? Thanks :)
You're making me learn things. It feels strange...
I think the guy who voices the Hulk also voiced the Infraggable Krunk from the Justice friends. Nice touch!
"Earthsea" for me as well and what's the funniest about it was I remember thinking "Holy crap, this fantasy book is actually about something and teaching me something I can feel, understand and use". On top of which it wasn't corny in any way. One fine day we'll finally get a good motion picture treatment...
I have to agree. Doesn't bode well. Burton can't help himself...
I'll see this! Sounds like it is probably the route they should have gone for the Dark Shadows movie. Burton might make me wrong. I hope so.
