Every Epic finale relies on a deus ex machina to undo all the problems.
Daleks bothering you? Just turn them all into dust, do some switch flicking and send them all into the void, or run up to one of their control modules, which just happens to have settings that blow up every Dalek. And Toclafane can be easily undone by destroying a paradox machine.
And Rose. She's been cheapened by two amazing send-offs (the first one was better), I really hope we don't have to deal with that again.
I want Tennant's last story to be a real examination of who the 10th Doctor really is, what he has done, what he stands for, and what he wants. Not the special effects junk food we've been fed before.
