@senatormayer: Well, uh... there probably wasn't much point replying to me, was there?
I appreciate you taking the effort, though. Makes me feel loved.
@Badmofo: BG&E is the only thing it could run. Couldn't even do basic video editing on that hunk of crap.
Cheaper to get a Macbook Pro with some decent hardware. Otherwise you'd probably be better of with just a cheap netbook.
Air is like a symbol of douchiness.
@PhatsMahoney: I use a Mac with boot camp, are you not allowed to boot camp due to school rules or just unwilling? Because most modern Macs (except the Air which is a piece of shit and should die in a fire) are more than adequate to play anything short of the most recent games (thought the lower-end Macbooks might have to run them on low settings).
@GeneralBattuta: Doesn't mean it isn't forgettable, which is the term I used. I didn't say it was bad.
There are films that have been critically panned which are now considered classics, and critically acclaimed films that the world has long forgotten. I surmise that Avatar is the latter - a film thats only strength is its 3D gimmick, and one that will quickly show its age.
