That's what I'm guessing yeah. But it also means they shouldn't say things like "fully orchestrated" when they do press releases. I don't remember where I saw that but I definitely remember that phrase being used. Misleading!
Anyone else notice the obvious MIDI? I thought they were gonna do away with that finally. I mean, yeah, it wouldn't be appropriate all the time, but, I dunno, but what I just heard sounds particularly grating and obvious.
Why do you back off from the comparison to Myst? Myst was a brilliant title, and honestly, no game has managed to capture the feel of it quite well ever since - a game being able to modernize Myst actually seems like high praise to me. That's reason enough to make me consider a game.
The huge smile on my face faded as soon as I saw it was retitled "The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra" to keep with the naming conventions of the crappy M. Night movie.
This game seems to have taken a couple tips from Uncharted, and honestly, I think it works in its favor. I think it's the right kind of game for that approach and, though I'm surprised to say it, I'm genuinely excited for this release after having seen the demo at E3.
I'm beginning to realize that every dumb movie that comes out these days has this same guy narrating it in this same style. That's my first cue something's wrong.
Sigh. The world is just not the same without Don LaFontaine. :/
Okay, I love me some daleks, but no amount of redesigning can hide the fact that their arms are (or in newer variations I guess the term would more appropriately be *very closely resemble*) freakin' plungers and whisks. And no, that facey-suckey-offey-thingy they do in more recent years doesn't make the plungers more scary.
