Miranda Kali commented on Frank Miller Not Directing Buck Rogers While I confess to a certain amount of relief at hearing this, an even more ominous question remain..
If not Miller, then who? A Buck Rogers as done by Miller may have been odd, but I doubt it would've been dull, or even abject crap.
There are far worse people who could end up doing it...
Take Schumacher for example..

Miranda Kali commented on Will Barack Obama Destroy the U.S. Space Program? I'm sorry, but it's a very simple equation and never ceases to floor me when people don't seem to get it.
Limited space + limited resources over time = 0 ..as in zip, nada, no more.
Sure, it may not happen in our lifetime, but at some point we're going to run out of elbow room, fuel, and building materials. Yes, learning to economize will help, but still, it will only prolong the inevitable.
Personally, if a chunk of my paycheck has to go to finding us a new home when the crunch comes, so be it. I can't afford it any better than most in this country, but hell, someone's got to start being responsible for the future.
