Not neccessarily the fault of the DPF itself, just that the Navistar designed engine wasn't designed for those emissions standards. Ford's 6.7L Diesel has a DPF too and it has stellar fuel economy.
I'd totally try out horse meat if I wasn't afraid of being mugged by horse-lovers. You can't imagine the shit-storm horse slaughter is here in Texas.
Apple no longer sells rack-mount servers, further evidence they want out. You also can't virtualize OSX on non Apple hardware so companies (like my employer) can't reduce their server footprint like they can with Linux and Windows servers.
Currently Origin is just as crap as it was years ago when the BF2 boosters came out. EA has a long way to go to make Origin close to Steam. And really I'd rather Origin JUST be a marketplace for EA games, not a direct replacement for steam.
My take though is that usually for white collar crimes it's usually a pretty subdued arrest.
I also find it ironic that this guy is facing more time than Madoff even though he stole far more money. It also didn't take a SWAT team to bring him in.
This is more like a judge ordering a defendant in a murder case to tell them where the body of the victim is hidden.
HOWEVER, going by the judge's ruling in this case, Ficosu stupidly admitted on tape that there was incriminating evidence on the laptop. So the court can order her to surrender the data she admitted to having. Similarly, a murder suspect who admits "Knowing where the body is" would then be compelled by the court to also give up the location of the body.
Really, this is Hollywood paying governments to send a message of intimidation.
At least in the case of Texas.
