Yeah, this is really not an improvement in any way.
@Paul_Is_Drunk: If you come up with anything like a convincing argument, do share..
@Mr_Academic: A lot of 2000AD strips would fit the bill.

Harrison and Abnetts run on "Durham Red" was good.

More recently Radicals "Shrapnel : Aristea Rising".

"Drafted" was fun as well..
@BouncedCzech: Definitely the worst film I've seen for a while and I've been known to watch SciFi original movies..

The Strause brothers really need to stop. If your first two films are two of the worst movies ever made maybe directing isn't for you..
@fury161: I kinda think of Supernatural as a natural successor to Buffy / Angel..
@Chuck: Season 3 is a good start. They're usually really good about covering any essential info / plot points in the flashbacks at the start of each episode.
@MadameDePompadour:
It's basically a wildly inconsistent, sweary Welsh version of Doctor Who, with a side order of sex and violence.
Episodes vary from face meltingly awful to pretty damn great.
Thing is, the bad ones are so bad they're actually entertaining.

Children of Earth was great but I'm not sure it'd make sense unless you watch the first two seasons.
@Stochastic_Sam: Misfits is probably the funniest thing on TV at the moment.
btw UK people can see the first season free on Ch4s website, or on Virgin tellys "On demand" thing. (foreign types may be able to use the website, or it may be ip locked like iPlayer, no idea..)
I loved "The Wrestler" , hated "The Fountain" and I think this is in the "do want" category..
@serenada: The dvds are cert 18 but considering it airs on a free channel at 10pm and anyone can watch it online, that's sorta meaningless.
@TheNewSun: Granny loved it, buy it for all your Aunties and Uncles.
@palinode: I've been really enjoying it which kinda surprised me , I was a big fan of the original and was completely expecting to hate it.
@♥AntiSocialSocialite♥: It might actually be the best scifi action movie ever (top 5 easily), so yeah, you should probably watch it. .

Directors cut mind you..
@GeorgeDW: Yeah, I really enjoyed it too..

Now "Feersum Endjinn", that was a bad Banks book..
@fluffywarthog1029: Good point, couldn't disagree.
@fluffywarthog1029: Didn't we already have the Celtic legends and the Arthurian Tales, Avalon thing..?

Seems like a British mythic tradition to me..?
Dollhouse, Sarah Connor, Firefly..nah, I'm not falling for it this time..
@CommodoreRake: Broken EP remains my favourite to this day, Downward Spiral and The Fragile a close second..
@ShanaLD: The first season of B5 is very hit and miss but if you can make it through that it starts to get really good, until season 5 which sort of fizzles out..

It's still pretty epic though.
