As much as I love Mass Effect and BSG i'd have to completely agree. It's just so contradictory to how good the main body of each work is that it pisses me off.
Slingshot because you can actually travel further and faster than if you used a warp drive. The 'sling shot' transportation works more like a wormhole than FTL transportation. Also if you played the games you'd know most of the ships in the Mass Effect universe have warp drive [masseffect.wikia.com] .
Yeah I'm waiting in anticipation to see what Mansell does with it. Hopefully it'll have a little of that Moon vibe.
What an excellent argument and article for something I believed was overlooked simply because it was a 'videogame'. Mass Effect's depth and scope is miles ahead of most of today's sci-fi related media. The one thing that immediately seared into my memory from playing the game was the music, omg the music !!!

Well i'm glad I just bought Retribution. His Mass Effect novels were solid entries in the Mass Effect universe. Bioware better replace him with someone who can fill his shoes.
Big fan of Scuba's work but it's definitely not the mainstream dubstep everyone's into. Also a fan of Digital Mystyks and Vex'd.

I agree that remix is sublime, much better than the original. I like Del Rey's music personally because of its minimalism and subtle nods to 60's music but I can see why people wouldn't be fans. Odd Future to me is hit and miss, I absolutely hate Tyler the Creator but love Syd Tha Kyd which I'm guessing is the culprit behind this remix. She has so many underrated tracks.
