So I won't debate the time loop point because I think you are right. It is about prefrence... However, your statement regarding the first people was explained by Peter. He said at the end that the future walter, astrid, oliva and others probibly went back in time and burried the items. Then then wrote the books and died in the past (since there was no future to go back to) So I don't think they just threw them into the wormhole. Probibly Walter found a safe way to travel back.
It is interesting that most of the people featured in the article above are not factoring in the possibility of space travel and how that could effect our technology. ie. star trek. Though that may not be on the horizon at the moment, it could be our given singularity.

It is true that they may not want to spend the money on a green screen so why not go oldschool and just have his hand/arm warpped all the time? or make a prostetic that looks like his hand is gone? I just feel like it did add a bit to the book that it's worth keeping but I do see your point.

@Kadayi: I disagree with your thoughts on Michonne. Frank Darabont stated at NYCC that she was his favorite charictor and can't wait to get to her. Also they did alude to Rick having his hand chopped. (the actor hadn't got there and was like... What?? )

Looks like this is the beginning of Pixar sequals. According to Wikipedia Cars 2 and Monsters 2 are coming out in 2011 and 2010 respectively. I also heard that there was sequal to the Incredables. (Though not sure if that's true)

@Coen: It would only heal the wound if it was off the island. If you know a gunshot or kife wound that happened prior to them coming to the island then let me know... but from what I can remember it didn't...
I got to say I disagree with this assesment. I think a lot was answered in previous seasons that a lot of people are not taking as an answer. For example - the island dosn't heal people randomly. If you had something OFF the island and come ON the island then they heal you. If you have something that happens ON the island then it can't heal you. Think of the island as displaced in time and space and so what happend before dosn't happen there. Also remember Jacob said you come to the island clean.... Your past sins forgiven which could also mean your past hardships. (rose's cancer).
@DangerousDac175: I have to say that I dissagree. I feel that this episode set up for more episodes. You got to remember a lot of these "throw away" episodes are ones that are mentioned later in the season and everyone forgets because they think it is just a filler episode. I think that the issue of scott's kid will factor into his relationship with chloe. I think chloe's father was just forgotten about and now we got to deal with that closure. I beleve that the while thing between Greer and Cameil will come back in full force later. It's all small factors that lead to the greater story. Not everything can be blow them up shoot them up or revolations. There needs to be some back story and some cause for trouble.

I compleatlly agree and find that when Amanda came out on the Sarno show and seemed more in control then Daniel I was in hope that she would start being the woman behind the scenes. However, they continue with this crazy plot. I think Amanda has a lot of protental!
