Use Hooke's Law every day at work. As well as a few of that Newton chap.
Okay...interested...fingers crossed this no bait and switch and I end up watching a soap disguised as a genre piece...
I, for one, welcome our new fish overlords.
Looking forward to the film coming out, but that trailer looked bodged together and chucked out. TDK trailer had the hairs standing on the back of my neck and I watched it several times. Not this one. Maybe Nolan is keeping his cards close to his chest and did not want to show much?
Ah yes, "the darkest corners of the universe". I agree. They are the worst corners.
Already have a publicity shot from Prometheus as the wallpaper on my phone. So, kinda excited by this.
Season 1 blu-ray news please! Someone?
Obviously stockpile of massive jello moulds. For when that is the only food we can afford as the economies all tank around the world. Mmm, jello...
That video alone was better than any of the Transformers movies.
I think Smith is just saying he is busy for the coming year, not he is leaving. Moffat will give him time in the series break to do the 'LA thing'. Then Smith will see how that turns out before deciding when to hang up the fez/stetson/bow-tie.
As an engineer myself I fully endorse this message!
What I cannot stand though is the modern tv/movie shortcut of someone simply sat at a computer keyboard who, with a few rapid keystrokes, seems to be able to solve all mysteries, plug into any cctv camera anywhere in the world, unlock any door, control tides, reverse the spin of the earth, etc, etc.
Nightmarish memories of her in 'Just William' come flooding back. "I'll squeam and squeam and squeam!" Britain's answer to Shirley Temple half a century too late, and with a fraction of the charm (well, none).
*Cut to John Hurt propped under nearby tree staring mournfully at another hole in his chest.*
"This is ridiculous! I only had a bacon sandwich this time."
"There are long, boring stretches where the astronauts are just sort of walking around and breathing, or telling each other lame stories..."
As said, just a Blair Witch clone. The second worst film I have ever seen (way behind "Cocktail"). I know this 'found footage' type of film has an audience, just not me. Is the Smurfs still on?
Looking forward to Walking Dead. That is a no-brainer. Hopefully will keep on track despite the PR-disaster sacking of Darabont. I only just listened to the Nerdist podcast of the SDCC panel where he sounded so enthusiastic...
Dark Matters seems to be called that because they could not afford enough studio lighting?
American Horror story looks good. Certainly on my list. Fringe, Doctor Who, of course. Person of Interest on casting alone has my attention.
"A NASA spokesperson, speaking to the Times, felt the need to emphasize that Apollo 18 is not a real documentary."
I am sorry, but is this a joke? I had such high opinions of NASA staff.
That was the line I was trying to remember. Rory has had some great moments this series and episode, but that trumps all.
Yup. Repetitive storyline. Too much filler. Gwen is so annoying. Best character disappears for too long.
Doctor Who + Dinosaurs! If Bruce Campbell were to guest star in the same episode as well I may just geeksplode.
The film's title choice finally explained.
Yes. I went there.
Where are Steed and Emma Peel? Confused.
