"@Baroness:
I found that episode amusing, since my local bank branch, having has monitors and vacuum tubes instead of live tellers (for security purposes, *giggle*) doesn't throw a fit when you ignore their queue when nobody is in line."
"You r@FuzzyPlushroom:
Too bad the Lagonda was a bit too "distinctive."
That said, would have hurt them to have gifted a car this expensive more details from..oh, the Carrera GT, rather than their relatively more plebian models?"
"I don't know how useful a countdown would be..most drivers don't (or rather should not) pay direct attention long enough for them to matter, and it may or may not because for more people to try to speed up to squeak through changing lights that would have otherwise given caution or slowed.
Maybe that's why I've only every seen a countdown signal for pedestrian crossings around here, and they are usually synced more than a few seconds ahead of a vehicular traffic signal change."
