@spinachdip: Well done sir, well done.
While no one deserves death threats or being spat at, it is part of being a public figure. He makes his living speaking and writing for the general public. There are reactions that come with that. You can't choose to make a career that is built on giving opinions and thoughts to the public, while at the same time not having to deal with the public. No different than any celebrity who whines about having their picture taken.

In all honesty, it sounds more like this is just an excuse to step away and pursue other ventures. I doubt he's making big money from the site and is probably bringing in most of his income through speaking engagements and shows. With the current economy where it is, everything he is involved with is going to take a major hit. It just doesn't seem normal for a guy to give up his career because he came across a jerk at a convention.

So A.C. Milan has a contract with Beckham that is similar to the contract I have with my couch?
Tomb Raider is dead. I'd rather see Megan Fox stick to other movies, preferably ones that see her in a multitude of nude scenes.
While most of those shows are great, I don't think they are scifi.
@PermanentInjuredReserve: Apparently you never faced the powerhouse Bucks squad of Brad Lohaus and Theodore "Blue" Edwards.
@joe: Five star for your shirt and one star for the sappy Jim/Pam shirts.
It's always tough to do a rape scene. You get too realistic and it's uncomfortable for all. Get too vague and it doesn't have the same impact on the viewer. Hopefully they find the middle ground there.
This should be a requirement for all Ebay Auto ads.
The Deshawn Stevenson edition gives underage girls a smooth ride.
The Andy Reid edition comes with convenient storage for your kid's narcotics.
Jay is simply referring to the bi-annual Sun-Times Blood Drive that he never missed.
Mine would be to walk a lot more. Living in the city, I don't walk places enough. Whether it's the bank, grocery store, or anything else, I'm going to try and use my car less and walk there. Guess it's a mix of a fitness goal and environmental goal.
Gran Torino had no business winning an Oscar. Decent movie but not Oscar-worthy.

I don't understand The Reader getting nominated for Best Picture. I liked it but again, not in the same league as Dark Knight or WALL-E. I guess it shows that releasing a movie at the beginning of the year means you have a much smaller shot at winning an Oscar.

Was real skeptical about this game but the screens look phenomenal.
I think this just adds to the belief that releasing a movie later in the year is the way to go if you want to rack up awards. It seems people have forgotten a bit about the Dark Knight. I believe every movie nominated for Best Picture came out near the end of the year.

The Reader is the big shocker in Best Picture. It got some good reviews, but nothing great (60% at Rotten Tomatoes). Just another sign that the voters are out of touch with the average movie fan.

@Klebert L. Hall: They had big screen TVs setup out there that people crowded around.
I always thought Brody was at the very least bisexual. He just seemed to try too hard to portray himself as a "ladies man". Almost like he was trying to talk himself out of something he didn't want.
I still use Adware to this day and knowing they are 10 years old makes me feel really old.
I know O'Reilly and Fox News aren't the bastions of journalistic integrity, but has it really come to this? I mean is there idea of news now just sending some dolt to try and trap celebrities into saying something dumb?
