@AngriestGeek Actually, no, I did not see either of those movies, but invoking Jeff Bridges here probably isn't a great idea.
Orlando Bloom hasn't really aged badly or anything, but it is something to take into consideration while they're shoehorning The Lord of The Ring's entire cast into The Hobbit for whatever reason.
Isn't Orlando Bloom getting a little long in the tooth to play a near-immortal that he last portrayed almost ten years ago? Maybe I don't know how elves work.
Also, good lord, what is so hard about writing Star Trek? There are thousands of wannabe SF screenwriters out there who could probably have a good script in a week.
I adored this book when I was a kid. I hope it gets a fair adaptation and isn't Twilightized, to coin a horrible phrase. Romance existed in the story but wasn't a big factor, as I recall (though it has been more than fifteen years since I read it, ouch).
Well, the funnier a guy is, generally speaking, the more interesting he is. Self-explanatory.
The male aversion to funny women is frankly more interesting to me. I've always assumed it was because guys resent being one-upped by the people they are trying to impress, but I've never actually asked a guy before.
It's a trend to make heavy use of those colors, sure, but that was LITERALLY only in blue and orange. At least use some other set of complementary colors, you guys!
A commercial for this came on the other day during some idle holiday TV watching, and my mother -- who is a regular SF Network viewer -- sighed and said, "I am so fucking sick of vampires and werewolves!"
