@maschinerie: Definitely not bad, but it doesn't feel like it belongs...much like Silent Hill 4, and the Silent Hill prequel. Homecoming feels like it should be part of the movie's universe, not the games. Once you play it, you will see what I mean. I think you should give it a rental at least.
They aren't missing a whole lot, honestly. I LOVE the Silent Hill series, but since 4 they have been becoming just OK. I liked the PSP/Ps2 Silent Hill prequel, but it wasn't anything new or special as the combat was worse (in my opinion) than the previous installments.
Seriously though, the Homecoming game could have been a sequel to the Silent Hill movie and I would have believed it. Seriously.
I think making an action oriented "horror" movie would be fantastic. The original Resident Evil has a great setting and the potential sequel in RE2 could be amazing. Hopefully we get something that's good in the reboot....which I can't honestly say ANY of the RE movies so far have been good at all.

My fiance likes this game and she "successfully" talked me into trying it out about 2 years ago. She is in a cooking guild and she says its fun, so who knows. I personally couldn't get past the graphics. The fact that it's free is a big deal to her, so I've tried to get her on to some of the better Aria games MMOs.
I take it I couldn't go in the store and buy one get one half off.
I'll take artistic drawing over bad 3D modeling any day.
Just like the game series is becoming, these commercials are stale and irrelevant. I would respect Guitar Hero if they had not of went the Rock Band route and tried to be their own thing. I would also respect them if they weren't making guitar "heroes" out of people like Johnny Cash (my favorite singer/songwriter) and Kurt Cobain, who really weren't that skilled with a guitar (Johnny Cash admits this many times over his career). I'll stick to Rock Band since I find it the least tacky of the two.
A backwards compatible Ps3. With over 60 Ps2 games, almost 30 Ps3 games + Downloadable stuff....my favorite console by far.
Even if 360 were fully BC, there weren't more than a handful of XBOX games I liked.
Wii just doesn't have enough and neither did the Gamecube.
If not my PS3, then I'm going to say my SNES.

@UltimatePancakeSensation: Johnny Cash is my favorite songwriter, outside of Bob Dylan. He, however, was not known for his amazing guitar skills. Cracks me up he is in Guitar Hero. /sad
I find it hilarious as Curt Cobain stood AGAINST nearly all of what Activision itself stands for.
Sad that the multiplayer is that bad since most of the achivements/trophies are for the MP. I didn't have a chance to get to the MP, and frankly didn't feel like playing the single player very long. The second I finished the area with the church and the weapon inside...well, I was finished.

China doing something stupid? No, this is nothing compared to the, I'm sure, millions of cases of humans rights violations.
Luckily I didn't have any problems when I went through mine. I did notice the graphical errors, but it didn't effect my fanboy enjoyment of the game or multiplayer. Can't wait to see the fixes when I go back through for more trophies
