@Jesse Mrozowski: The problem is you and everyone else in the area has thought of that. So its not that great an idea.
@bowen13: Its a great series. As for your expectations, well the world went to shit because a good man, did a good deed, for all the right reasons. With that as the basic premise, its kind of hard to expect "good" to come out unscathed.

And if you're not sure what I'm talking about, find a copy of Hedge Knight, the prequel short story (and graphic novel).
The conclusion my friends and I came to was that this movie was either 10 minutes too long, or 30 minutes to short. Those last 10 minutes where incredible, that was the movie I wanted to see. But instead of showing me a movie of that, we're given a glimpse that's ended to soon.

Of course the reason for those last 10 minutes is probably the original ending (before 10 minutes of awesome) didn't do well with the test audience so they decided to give it an "upbeat" ending. Blah.
@joep1984: Nope. The way US law works, if a contract or license (well some licenses) is recognized in one state, the other states are obligated to recognize that contract/license. They may outlaw the creation of such a contract/license within that state, but they are obligated to acknowledge one from another state.

There's actually a term for this but I can't recall it.
@El_Furioso: Well I'm pretty sure this things uses non-euclideon geometry, so its not a suprise your eyes sting a bit.

Oh yea, and what ever you do don't read the inscription on the bottom, no matter how much fun it is to say Hastur.
I think a lot of people are missing the fact he did this to bypass Chinese authorities so he could claim asylum in Canada. To get by the Chinese he made himself appear to be an old white man.

Once the plane had reached whatever point it becomes the concern of Caanadian authorities, he removed the disguise so as not to provoke anyone on the Canada side into thinking he was tricking them. So he gets to Canada, claims asylum, and doesn't get deported.
Ah the Philadelphia Airport. So screwed up in so many ways.
@Charleysjob: Its called a NOTAR (which handily stands for NO TAil Rotor). It is indeed a pretty nifty solution.
@k4man: I think the best option for mister Harcourt Fenton Mudd would be Paul Giamatti. I know I'd kill to see that.
@badhairday: They immersed a lot of sensitive avionics in water. That will do some damage.
@DocSeuss: No, its still a single system, there just happens to be five stars. The smaller stars orbit the large one, and are in turn orbited by their own planets. Think of a binary system and then add three more.

Gravitationally I don't think it'd work, at least not for planatery formation. It would also cause crazy tidle stresses on the planets that did form.
@karmakid: There are certainly parallels, but I wouldn't call it a rip-off. More likely just parellel thinking.
@DocSeuss: The Firefly "Universe" all takes place in a Quintnary system. Thats five suns for the unenlightened. Take a look: [www.fireflywiki.org]
@ghostofoldtrafford: Jon is actually a Targaryen (his father) and a Stark (his mother). So Daenerys hooking up with him makes perfect sense. That and the whole "Three headed Dragons Nonsense" (i.e. you need three Targaryen's to restart the house).
I've never been swimming in the Sierra's so I have to ask, is all the water there that clear?
@aak7268: What are talking about? They only made the one Highlander movie and then the TV show, ok and the direct to video movie with the guy from the TV show. But definatly no second move. Nope, didn't happen.
STOP! Hammer time . . .

Sorry I couldn't help myself. I wanted to see the movie before. Now I want to see it opening night.
@serenada: All I can think of is they want the accent to be American or European.
@SkyLab: Your average person on the street doesn't know that oil is used for more than just gasoline. For a fun experiment, ask the people you know what all oil is used for and most will be hard pressed to name anything else.
@DrGonzho: Aliens yes, space aliens no. They where from another dimension with its own physical laws and such.
