Being old means we have money but not the time to play all the video games we want. I was not really that old when I first began having a distaste for photo realistic graphics in video games. I just cant find them appealing. Id take something colourful like Super Mario Galaxy or Xenoblade Chronicles over any HD photo realistic games out there. But alas, perhaps it's just me getting old.
I would have gone mental if I was 10 and saw Skylanders. Even so, I do not envy the kids today, videogames these days leave very little to imagination. I am glad to have grow up along side the industry, but definitely consider myself a retrogamer nowadays. I still eagerly await for the new games to come and playing them, but always end up going back to good ol Super Nintendo, Megadrive, NES, Amiga...
Can't believe it's just one week away. I'm really looking forward to it, "Xenoblade Chronicles" grabbed my GOTY award of 2011 and rekindled my interest in JRPGs. Can't wait to see if this one is even better. All around good times to own a Wii.
Thanks, I follow Tim's happenings over his facebook page, and it was after he released the statemnt he was working on "CoLD SToRAGE 2048" that mention I was gonna give him some firnedly competition this year. This album is exactly that. Can't wait to hear his new tracks, of course. =)
Since I only have the Wii, things are very quiet nowadays which is great because I have a huge baclog to ploay well into Summer. However, I am having some trouble keeping up with 3DS, it's good game after good game and after months of "Ace Combat", I'm hooked in "Resident Evil Revelations" Raid mode and have yet to finish Super Mario 3D Land and Shinobi.... with "Tekken 3D" already bought yesterday.
When we were kids we had all the time in the world and no money to buy all the games. Now we have the money and all the games but no time to play them all... Good times, eh?
