I still think I was the only person in the world who played and liked that game.
But if we could find a way around that then really, GL is much more suited for a game than either Superman or Flash, since GL always fight against enemies on their powerlevel, a war of light videogame would be so cool to be honest.
Admittedly I never played the game (I do not own a 360) but from all the reviews the game was arguably not very good or fun.
The thing is that making the lose condition an outside factor, the city's health as opposed to Superman's', in essence you make the game one long escort mission, and we know how frustrating those are.
While it's true that that makes sense and to a point it simulates the trials of Superman, it's not that fun to have external factors decide your success.
The thing is, what makes Superman interesting? And from that what would make interesting gameplay?
What everyone is going nuts about is a new game in the vein of the old LucasArts classics like day of the tentacle, full throttle or Monkey Island, Point and click Adventure games. That is what everyone expects and that is what everyone is paying for; an adventure game is not a AAA mass budget release but they are (when well done) incredibly charming and intelligent games.
Other than that, yeah I agree, I don't know where you live, but I live in a VERY warm country, I usually take two showers because even just lounging around you tend to sweat. And I cannot stand that shit.
