Hope the birthday party went well and everyone had fun!

      whats_in_a_name on Sep 7, 2008

Congrats on your daughter's birthday, and may there be many happy returns.

You are more than welcome, I just wish you'd taken one of us up on the offer. As I'm sure you've guessed, I've been there, & while we're not well-off or whatever, the mister and I were talking yesterday about how much those days sucked - how you wish like HELL someone would just help, a little, but you hate anything that smacks of "Help" at the same time.

But yeah, amazing how caring people really aren't that hard to find, even on the funniest corners of the internet.

And (sheesh!) don't think twice about barefoot - what could be cuter than a precious dress & bare feet?

Here's a big forum where people talk all about female-targeted games:
      [forum.my-neoromance.com]
And here's a link to my blog, which is all about Japanese games for girls (and women):
There's also links on there to other blogs that talk about the games. Sorry for linking my own blog, there's not too much out there yet(though I'm sure it will come!)

I think you are spectacular. I still want to help if I can. Just let me know.

      You rule!

Thank you, sweetie. Men are making me profoundly miserable.

Hi! Thank you. I'm hoping the birthday isn't too gruesome, but I'll have plenty of booze to blunt the edges.

Thanks for the message! I am only 7 weeks so we've only told our parents so far . . . no friends . . . so I am DYING and I have to talk to strangers about it! Next week, doctor's appointment, and then I will tell more people and stop oversharing with people on the train. :)

I just noticed that almost a whole month ago you wished me well on my weekend of birth. Thanks much!

      andBegorrah on Aug 25, 2008

And here I thought I was so great at multi-tasking because I read crap on the internet AND drink coffee at the same time without spilling any on myself. Usually.

Do you mind if I imagine that you read "Cover Lies" and the like aloud to your kids as part of their moral education?
