Personally I think pyschologists are just trying to increase business by depressing the rest of us (j/k)
@Aathos: I agree, NYC really doesn't come to mind when I think "Air and Space" history. Someone else commented about Washington getting one for the all contributions their aerospace industry has made and that sounds good to me.
The National Air and Space Museum at Wright Patterson AFB should definitely get one.
Coincidentally, I'm reading the "Day of Battle" by Rick Atkinson and just finished the part where Churchills used his "sum of their fears" comment in regards to the Allied military leaderships objections to his invasion plan for Anzio. Churchill wasn't thinking very rationally, ignoring logistical concerns in an effort to push a pet plan forward for his own glory and believed that the objections of his military advisors was just their their fears getting the best of them. As it turns out, the plan was a disaster, the planners were right even though eventually the Allies were able to make the best of a really bad situation and succeeded in spite of Churchills audacity. It's an interesting read for anyone interested in what "the sum of all fears" actually means. As I take it, it describes the inability of those who know better to prevent the those in power from doing unthinkable wrongs. But I digress ;)
Caines closing commentary was dynamite stuff, very well written and introspective.
really, you don't get why they want to make Tomas the leader? Sophia has been in prison for 66 years while he has been running things successfully on the outside. You can't just walk into a situation like that and say "ok, I'm in charge again" and expect a smooth transition. Besides, it sounds like where ever they are from sucks a$$ and they don't want to go back, "Prime Directive" be damned.

I did like how The Bad Guys let the little girl escape to serve as bait for Sean and Leila. At least, I assume they let her go, because I didn't catch any explanation for how the little old lady girl escaped.
reads like something out of "1984" lol.
They should have called the show "World War ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ".
My reaction to Abrams "Trek" was pretty much the same as Hitlers.
@Adam Whitehead: Nah, really, I didn't know any of that

In truth, they never had a chance to win the war, at best they might have been able to force a negotiated peace if they knock the Soviets out. People love to what-if the Nazis winning because they perceive them as having lost only because Hitler made stupid decisions. But they always ignore the fact that the Allies made stupid decisions of their own that made it possible for the Germans to have what little success they actually did. And if you aren't sure of what I am talking about, go read up on the invasion of France and the events that led up to it and learn how the French High Command dropped the ball due to their own version of Hitlers inept leadership. And don't even get me started on the mistakes Stalin made.
Its likely that Eli never really had a girlfriend before so that would make losing Ginn extra painful. I mean, come on, fat math nerd getting a hot chick, he's gotta realize thats not going to happen again anytime soon. Hell, I would have wanted to kill the guy too.

I really liked Scotts interaction with Rush as well. Scott seems to understand Rush in ways Young doesn't and I find that a refreshing change from the "military vs. civilians" mindset the shown has gone with so far.
the show is just boring.
@gorehound: if they had been intelligent they never would have started the war in the first place.
Great episode, especially after the all-time Franchise low they reached last week. This show is at its best when Rush and Young are going head to head and when it "gets its geek on" with the science team.
I loved their reaction to finding the bridge and learning that Rush broke the master code; it was like a bunch of kids at Christmas lol.
"Top Story, Santa Barbara. 10,000 acres of wooded residential land were scorched in an instant when a laser cannon aboard the Strategic Defense Peace Platform misfired today during routine startup tests. Yes, it was a day of mourning for the families of the 113 people known dead at this hour. Among them, 2 former United States Presidents who had retired in the Santa Barbara area. A day of mourning for a country. And now a word from our sponsor, 6000 SUX."
I would like to see Highlander rebooted without the Highlander in it. That is, make it about someone other than a Scotsman.
Sterling and the President are the only interesting characters on the show. I liked MIT guy until he couldn't figure out what E.B.E. means, making him maybe the stupidest hacker on the planet.
@Hedgeworth: I didn't like the tools usage either. Whats next, Sniper Zombie?
