If they make a Kick-Ass 2, I hope it's drastically different from the current comic book, which is downright unreadable.
To each their own, but I actually really enjoyed Skyward Sword's story.
Personally I'm the exact opposite for the main reason that I don't think the Japanese are very good storytellers. Deeper stories, to me, sound like it would be going into RPG/Final Fantasy type territory and I personally hate FF games. They do not embrace the philosophy that "Brevity is the soul of wit" which I wholeheartedly support. To me, Skyward Sword's story is as deep and intricate as it needs to be. It gives you the origin of the curse of the Triforce, the origin of the Master Sword, the beginnings of Hyrule, and tells you just about everything you need to know without having to go into 30-40 minute cut scenes of dialog & flashbacks. Link & Zelda's love for one another is perfectly shown without having long, drawn out, boring speeches of romantic dialog.

Haha, and sorry if I use the word 'personally' a lot, but I just always have to stress that this is mainly my opinion. To each their own.

"Zelda would be better if it had no story. Or more precisely, no plot to structure the adventure. The first Zeldas barely had any plot, and they were the better for it."

And we can pretty much stop right here cause this line perfectly illustrates that you cannot and will not ever please everybody. While you claim Zelda would be better with no story or plot to structure the adventure, so many other Zelda fans want more story. Hell, they just translated the timeline and from what I've seen most Zelda fans are pleased.

"Isn't that what we want? For games to get deep inside of us, to restructure our consciousness, to reroute our labyrinthine nerves, to resonate with our captive hearts, to matter? The way legends do."

To be honest, no. The games I enjoy the most are the games I find the most entertaining, because that's all gaming is to me; entertainment. The Zelda series is my favorite overall series of all time because I primarily enjoy ever single game for it's simplicity, the evolution of the combat, the puzzles, the weapons and such. Skyward Sword gave me everything I wanted and more. I found the experience immensely enjoyable and entertaining and that's all the matters!

I say we launch a giant ball of garbage at it!
"My goal, then," he writes, "is not to become President and lead a dysfunctional electorate, but to enlighten the electorate so they might choose the right leaders in the first place."

Therein lies part of the problem. A lot of these people do not want to be enlightened or educated. "Ignorance is bliss" so to speak, and it applies to the voters of this country. The real reason you're seeing so many protests like the fight in Wisconsin & Ohio over basic workers rights or perhaps even the Occupy movement is because things have gotten so bad & disjointed that some people can't ignore it anymore.

"What really killed the Dinosaurs?"
"MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!"
I hope the show is going in the right direction, cause the last bit of this episode showed me that it's starting to. I'm hope they are finally getting to the point that the zombies are not the most dangerous things out there, but rather the people are.
Tell me of the PCP on your home world, Mu'adDib
"Batman's a scientist!"
"YOUSA MAGNIFICENT BOMBAD, MESA READ YOUSA BOOK!!"
Well these people needed the 1.21 Gigawatts
"2. Because I get every past TV show of Star Trek (Way better than the star wars "universe") free on Amazon Prime."

See this right here? What you said? That's the POINT of why a lot of people are pissed at Lucas, because he's going out of his way to never allow the past versions to be seen again. And it's really upsetting when he says things like "Blade Runner has gotten recut three ways from Sunday, and nobody seems to mind." because he still doesn't understand why people are upset. And what makes it so much worse is that there's NO REASON NOT TO RELEASE THEM. NONE. AT ALL. WHAT-SO-FUCKING-EVER. They are guaranteed to make money. Instantly. The only reason not to do it is because of his ego. Even Quesada screwing with Spidey with OMD, as much as I hate that (seriously it's my least favorite event in comics history and I stopped buying it immediately after OMD) did not go out of his way to make the previous Spidey comics unavailable.

That's the problem, and it's insulting not as a Star Wars fan but as a movie fan, a fan who recognizes that Lucas did not create Star Wars all by himself, that other people helped with this creation, other directors & editors & screen play writers. It's an insult to them more than it is the fans, and judging by the evidence presented by the prequels, the changes, his comments when asked questions, it's become painfully evident that while Lucas had the spark that created the Star Wars universe, he had very little to do with making them the films that people grew up loving.

It's not about "Lucas raping our childhood" but more about him going out of his way to deny it to people and calling us idiots for liking it! Star Trek, especially the Next Gen, is not only giving us back our childhood but going out of their way to enhance the look of the original effects.

Oh I know. Just stating the main point of it!
Well I think that was the point of saying "Han Shot First" stating that he never gave Greedo the chance to kill him!
And they released the original in case people wanted to watch that version.
I mean, Greedo made it perfectly clear that he was going to shoot him! Perfectly. Clear. And according to the Lucas edit, he does. Haha, so instead of making Han Solo look like a "cold-blooded killer" even though Greedo makes it clear he's going to kill him, he makes Han Solo look like an idiot who is somehow counting on Greedo to miss him at point blank range, like Han read the script. It's mindboggling.
The real problem is that it's really not just "his" work he's tampering with. It's the hard work of everyone involved in making the original movies.
HAHAHAHA!! That is awesome!
