This right here, this is journalistic integrity. Just like when kotaku stood up to Sony and EGM outed the developers that threatened to blacklist them over low review scores.

Of course, the fact that there are people here who think that Gameblog.fr is in the wrong confirms my belief that a lot of video game nerds only consider journalistic integrity when a site gives certain games a 7.

The JRPG is a fascinating genre in that so much of it's appeal is built off of nostalgia, at least the prototypical experience that Jason Schreier touches on.

This gives it that comfortable feeling, but it also keeps recycling mechanics that just need to fucking die.

Like random encounters.

Even with Kirk's blessing, I just can't bring myself to buy a peripheral for a handheld. It's just so ugly...so stupid...
So far this new handheld generation has given us idiotic peripherals, pathetically short battery life, $50 games and now Activision style DLC.

I could have lived without all that progress.

You don't like most things I take it.
But then they just sit in their own little ghetto, never really getting the attention they deserve.

Steam. Steeeeeeaaaaaam.

"With Hollywood's big night looming, a little Oscar party cosplay, perhaps?"

By cosplaying for the movie that got snubbed!? Stupid Hollywood.

Just all the more reason for indie developers to completely ignore consoles.
It's the PSP Ratchet and Clank games all over again, except the technological gap between the PS3 and Vita is smaller than the PSP and PS2, so the difference in quality is that much easier to spot.
Ah, the rare legal case where both companies look like idiots.
Yeah, sorry about that. I guess Kotaku just figured that the readership here would be able to comprehend that people like Nichols are part of the video game industry we love to read about. That we would have enough empathy to actually care about these people and what happens to them.

Stupid Kotaku. Don't worry, they'll just focus entirely on rewritten press releases and reviews written to a 7-10 mentality from now on, exclusively. That way you won't have to actually think when reading anything on this site anymore.

Posting this is pretty bizarre, Kotaku. I don't think I can defend this.
I am so gay for this man.

Please, take all of my money. All of it.

What guy in what video? The guy with the death sentence?

You really aren't very good at this.

It is when it's a sad attempt at shouting "Look at me! Please!"
But Seal Team 6 doesn't run on water...that we know of.
This makes way too much sense.
Just in it for lazy trolling, eh?

4chan to the core.

Come on Obama, just send the Secret Ninja Task Force to get him! I know you have a Secret Ninja Task Force, just admit it. Please. I need this in my life.
It's...a little more complex than that. You could also argue the U.S. had a role in these attitudes.
