An even cheaper option is to just go to the auto parts store and use their scanner. Most of them will not help you with the process, but everyone that I've asked has let me use it for a minute to get the code from my car.
I assumed it was Wheatley from Portal 2.
Thank you! I was hoping someone else would mention Lux. None of the bars listed above have half of the class it did.
Well, scratch my idea. SpookyMonster beat me to it.
Eh, they do that all the time in the comics, so I'm cool with it. I'm pretty sure the Baxter Building and Stark Tower aren't in the real New York City, either.
#corrections - "Forcing Stevie to use his ghost powers to basically evaporate Stevie's energy." Should be "... evaporate Dylan's energy."

Also, not sure if this is a correction, but I thought the Lost Boys reference was meant to refer to the original Lost Boys from Peter Pan. They are forever stuck at the same age, never growing up or becoming emotionally mature.

I believe they fought an Arachne in season 6.
They are collecting light. Visible light is just a specific subset of electromagnetic waves ("light"), radio waves are another subset of the same spectrum.

They're just scaling up the basic mechanical premise of a normal camera and shifting the frequency of the light they will detect.

I refer to him as Space Viking Jesus.

I can't remember the exact issue, but I believe that is from Generation Hope. That looks like Shinji contemplating a Sentinel head in the mutant history museum shortly before it is attacked, kicking off the Schism arc.
I don't know if anyone on here can answer this, but here goes: Why doesn't Titan seem to have weather patterns like other orbital bodies with atmospheres? It seems to have a uniform color to its entire surface, while other atmospheres exhibit whorls of colors as storms and winds whip the gases into a frenzy.
It was actually io9 that first turned me on to Janelle Monae. I remember a year, year and half ago when they posted the video for "Metropolis". I was blown away by the entire thing from concept to lyrics to melody.
Ah, I misread the description. I assumed Warbird was Rachel's Shiar boyfriend.
Can someone help me figure out what is going on with Cecilia Reyes on that cover?
1) When did she train with dual-wielding short swords with a reversed grip? Is this left over from when Legion created his little bubble universe a year or so ago?
2) What is up with the feather-hair?
3) Why does she need armor? Isn't her power a personal force field?
Just because it makes me giggle: I hereby propose that we refer to the X-Men: First Class sequel as "X-Men: Business Class".
Here's what I've observed: Most fans don't care what the studios do with the plot or the details of the characters so long as the characters still conform to the incredibly personal, and typically nebulous, definition each fan has for what is necessary to their favorite character.

This means that for some fans, you can change Peter Parker's race, age, which girl he's dating (Mary Jane or Gwen Stacy), and which villain he meets first (Green Goblin, Doc Oc, or Vulture). But Uncle Ben still has to die in the first act, and Spider-Man still has to throw out constant one-liners and banter throughout his fights.

On the hand, you will have those fans that will not be happy even if you make a film that keeps everything important exactly like it is in the books. They will still scream about that one shot at 1:32:34 in the movie: "SUPERMAN'S S-CURL GOES THE OTHER WAY, YOU IDIOTS!!!!1111!!!"

Basically, it's a crapshoot. You'll hear from the second type of fan much more often, but there are more of the first type floating around out there, happy to quietly enjoy the well-crafted narratives Hollywood is able to provide.
It's on the fringe of the X-titles, but I've been loving Peter David's work on X-Factor since they relaunched it with Multiple Man's Detective Agency. It's still soap opera-ish in that they focus on the characters' relationships a fair bit, but at least they seem to handle the fallout from the various issues in a recognizably human way.
Since you asked for it (sort of).
So, Dollhouse Season 1, Episode 2?
