Says the guy wearing a 'Han Shot First' tee shirt? What will it be next week, George?

Exactly. It's not a difficult thing.
But mostly for being obnoxious. Presenting a counterargument or corrective data doesn't have to be soaked in a condescending tone or holier-than-thou fuckwittery. It always ends up sullying a perfectly strong point.

Those that can't get their heads around that possibility deserve every thwack of the banhammer they get.

Hehehe took the not-familiar-at-all-with-the-scene-fuck-i'm-old words right outta my mouth. #observationdeck
What the holy hell was that garbage? Is Toby Whithouse secretly a fan of True Blood, because honestly.... that season setup reeks not just of Terminator bukkake but 50lbs of exposition shoved into a 5lb bag. Awful, awful, awful. In a single hour, we get:

* A villain we've NEVER met before, that the show insists should be a considerable threat to our heroes. And then he dies. Ho hum.
* A new ability from George wheeled into the show lore in the last 10 minutes (oh no wait... make that two new powers since now wolf-blood is like strychnine to vampires. Surprise!).
* And a brand new so-coincidental-it-actually-mocks-the-original-cast vampire, ghost and werewolf sharing a flat.

Grawr! I want my old show back.

Just watched the first episode for season 4 of Being Human UK (spoilers in reply).... #observationdeck
Ugg is fantastic. I'm pretty sure he's the same Ugg the Caveman from the TalkingPointsMemo.com comments... and he's hilarious there as well. #observationdeck
It's not that difficult to imagine. Most Christian themed parks revolve around the idea that secular entertainment is too corrupting for parents who want to raise their children in a vary specific and isolated faith. So if they trivialize or soften things that were brutal in the Bible... meh. It beats the kids communing with gays at the House of Mouse.

Plus, and this is the most important part, they believe there's money to be made from fellow fundamentalists.

I heartily endorse this with a shell bump and big ol' heart.
Seriously, Colorado?!! Worse than Kansas?!!

You can forget about playing the Xbox for at least another month, buster.

Oklahoma gives Texas a run for its money in the crazy batshit department. Between anti-sharia laws nobody needed and state reps crying out that baby bits are in your Chips Ahoys....it's no wonder that state fails all logic & science so spectacularly.
Is this the movie where they keep kicking that insipid 'Shakespeare was a fraud!1!!' myth down the road? Brought to the world by the same moron that gave us such solidly researched fare as 10,000 AD, The Day After Tomorrow and 2012?
I'm not much good to you in the US but.. I wish you enormous amounts of luck, brother. #observationdeck
4 times in two days I've tried to post the same post only to have it swallowed by that tentacled-gremlin-that-shall-not-be-named.

From hell's heart I stab at thee, Gawkerkraken! #observationdeck

Gggeeeeyaaarlllmppplllaaaah!!! *shudder* #observationdeck
I'm really hoping this sticks as I posted it three times yesterday, to the delight of the Gawkerkraken.

So for all rabid cinephiles, movie fiends or anyone just interested in what the box office future holds this year.... I highly recommend Dark Horizon's annual 'Notable Films' list. All that's due to be released in 2012 from zero to Z.

Enjoy! Enjoy!

Anyone else losing their posts on the odeck? #observationdeck
So for all rabid cinephiles, movie fiends or anyone just interested in what the box office future holds this year.... I highly recommend Dark Horizon's annual 'Notable Films' list. I just finally finished volume 10, tackling letters U through Y. And among the collection of recycled Hollywood pap, there's several films there that might just be compelling enough for my hard earned dollars.

Oh my sweet potatoes, yes! Enjoy!

At first I was a little wary where this was going... but holy hell that was ridiculously funny. #observationdeck
