No you 're fine. What they're basically saying is that you can't set your story too far back in time or the difference between your alt history and real history won't really be noticeable since most people aren't expert historians.
I got goose bumps just from watching. Goose bumps I tell you! Looking good. Looking Good.
Especially since the original ending was actually pretty good.
Especially since the deleted scenes showed us that they actually filmed the correct ending from the book but apparently decided to do some reshoots and replace it with the BS ending we got.
I have to admit, I burst out laughing sooo many times during this episode. XD

Also: Dr. Park from SGU! #observationdeck

Pretty sure FF10 should enable it by default regardless of the max version, so no hacking should be necessary.
Type in about:config in the url bar and then type browser.tabs.closebuttons into the filter bar at the top of the page. Right click it, select modify, then enter an integer value of 0.

0 Displays a close button on the active tab only
1 Display close buttons on all tabs (Default)
2 Don’t display any close buttons
3 Display a single close button at the end of the tab strip (Firefox 1.x behavior)

Middle clicks closes tabs in FF too.
Agreed, things could have been very different.

But for some reason I don't think that will ever become canon XD

Actually the real reason this is made is that if they stop making Spiderman films the rights will revert to Marvel after a set amount of time. And as they make a gazillion dollars from each movie they aren't about to let that happen anytime soon.

So no Spiderman cameos in the Avengers.

Spider man, spider man, does whatever a spider can.

Uhhh, that raises some disturbing possibilities...

While I agree with all your points it's worth mentioning that at least some types of spiders are able to extrude strands of webbing from their feet.

Afaik there was an article here on io9 a (long) while back that some researchers discovered that was how some (large) species of spider (Tarantulas? I forgot) managed to stick to surfaces while climbing despite their larger size.

Ahahaha! This joke never gets old.
Reminds me of this great image XD
Fun Fact: "Veronica Mars' hacker friend Mac" also played the kid in waterworld.
And this is why I'm pissed that the ISS centrifuge module got scrapped over budgetary concerns, being able to test the long term effects of moon/mars level gravity would be invaluable.
Don't worry! GRRM has mentioned in interviews that should he die before he can finishe the series all his notes will be burned.

So you don't have to worry about any third party writers, as there won't be any.
